She was going home but then....
She Luke... But he was... With another girl. She tried not to think about it. Maybe it's his sister? But... She wish it was. They started kissing. Val was devastated. She started crying. I guess he only saw Val as a friend. She felt a raindrop fall onto her head.
"Shit. It's starting to rain." She thought to herself. She was just looking down as the rain got worse. As she was walking she accidentally bumped into someone. When she looked up... There she saw... A tall guy. With brown messy hair, brown eyes, a little bit of tan skin. He was bountiful.
"Hey are you okay?" He went a little bit closer to cover her up from the rain with his umbrella.
"Y-Yeah! I'm alright." She wiped her tears.
"Were you crying?! Is everything okay?"
"I don't know you. Why should I tell you?"
"Well if you did give me your number or anything. We could become friends."
"Well you are right."
"So will you tell me what happened? You know I am sharing my umbrella with you right now."
"Well fine. I work at this coffee shop. And this one time this cute guy came and i fell in love instantly! And so I got his number. And then we talked for a bit and then the next day I got sick. And I don't know why but he came over to my house and took care of me. And so I thought maybe he likes me too? But then I was just walking home and I saw him kissing a girl."
"Oh geez. That sounds horrible."
"Yeah I know. Ugh I'm so stupid for believing that he might actually like me ."
"Hey.. um... Maybe you want to come over to my house and play some games? The rain is getting worse. And I mean I live really close to here. I know that it sound weird but i got snacks?" He smiled awkwardly showing his grocery bag.
"I uh. I don't know you. That is pretty weird."
"I mean I'm not forcing or telling you to come with me. I just gave you this idea. Well I mean maybe you live near. I don't know that."
"Well I do live near here. Thank you for inviting me but I will have to pass on that offer."
"Oh. Yeah okay! Maybe I could still get your number?"
"Sure why not. Give me your phone."
"Oh yeah okay" He took his phone out of his pocket and gave it to her. "Here"
She took his phone and wrote her number. "Okay done." She gave his phone back to him.
"Awesome! Um so... If you want i can give you my umbrella."
"Huh?! You don't have to give me your umbrella! Don't be crazy!"
"Just take it. You said that you were sick not so long ago. Don't get sick again."
"Well thank you!"
"No problem. Well I will go now. It was-... Wait what's your name?"
"I'm Val. What about you?"
"I'm Max. By the way. Nice name."
"You have a nice name too!"
"It was nice meeting you Val."
"It was nice meeting you too Max."
"Bye Val!"
"Bye Weirdo!" She giggled as she walked away.
"Ei! I'm not a weirdo!"
Val walked back home. She unlocked her door and went inside. Then she locked it again. She took her shoes off and put the umbrella to dry. She went to her room and grabbed some clean clothes. Then she took a nice warm shower. After the shower she left so nice but she was hungry so she made herself some food. After eating she went to her living room. She turned the TV on. As she was peacefully watching she was disturbed by a message. She checked her phone. It was Max.

Val got up from the sofa, turned the TV off and went to her room. She put her phone to charge and jumped into bed. It didn't take long before she fell asleep.
