"Who's that?" Emily asks, cocking her head up to a man leaving Hotch's office with Strauss. I frown slightly and shrug.

"We got a new agent?" I suggest, and when he turns and looks at us before entering another room, I realise I recognise him. Emily seems too as well, seeing a we both turn to each other with gasped mouths at the same time.

"David Rossi?" she whispers in complete shocked.

"Wow, who would have thought he'd return after all his fame and fortune?" I joke, continuing to pack up the files in boxes wit her.

"I heard we got another case?" Morgan asks, entering the room.

"Yeah, Hotch and JJ were just setting up," I responded, looking over at him. He gives a short nod before heading up to them. Things between me and Derek were still shaky, it had been a month since he called things off. I suppose he thought I'd come running back by now, but honestly, dating was the last thing on my mind.

"When are you two going to kiss and make up?" Emily asks, finishing the last box and closing it up. I laugh at her and shake her head.

"I don't remember there ever being an indication that we were going to 'kiss and make up'" I answer, picking up the boxes to help her carry them into the file room.

"Oh, come on. You guys were seeing each other for months and never made anything official. I think it's time one of you gives."

"We both have a lot going on, it's not really on our minds," I shrug off. Emily raises an eyebrow at me.

"It's not really on your mind you mean? I'm pretty sure every time Derek sees you he gets the reminder."

"What do you mean by that?"

"He gets this nostalgic look in his eyes, It's pretty damn obvious he misses how you were. Everyone seems to notice it but you," she explains, as we place the boxes on their shelves. I sigh and turn to her, leaning my arm against the shelves.
