*Brooklyn*
I covered my ears as another swarm of teenage girls ran through the arena to their seats. There was a timer ticking away on the big screens that were above the stage. There was exactly 3 minutes left until the concert started, Bethany and Kylie were talking to a group of similar aged girls that were seated beside us. I felt a tap on my right shoulder and turned around, Michelle following suit.
A middle aged man, wearing a white t-shirt that read Harry is my future son in law. "Here," he said sticking out a box of what look like ear plugs. "They are new, this is my second One direction concert trust me, once they actually start it gets 10 times worse."
"You are my hero," Michelle laughed grabbing a pair.
"Thank you," I smiled grabbing my own. Putting the ear plugs in I realized they didn't cancel out the noise just reduced it, which I was extremely grateful for.
As the lights dimmed an the opening act began, the chatter from the crowd turned into singing. My head was bobbing back and forth to the beat, when I felt my pocket vibrate. I pulled out my phone and noticed a text from an unknown number, quickly unlocking the phone to check it,
I see you
H.I glanced around the stage until my eyes meet with elevator man's piercing green orbs, the rest of his body being hidden by a black curtain. Breaking eye contact I looked back at my phone to type a quick response.
Creep. How did you get my number?
Not even 30 seconds later he replied,
Your sister, I bribed her (;
Before I could ask what with, a second text came,
Text you in a bit! It's time to you know sing and stuff.
Enjoy the show love xMy mind immediately wandered to figure out when he had time to talked to Kylie, and I wasn't around.
"Okay ladies it is time to get you to your seats ," Richard, one directions manager told us shortly after we finished taking picture. Kylie and Bethany gave each boy a good bye hug, while Michelle and I waited by the door. My eyes caught Harry's for a brief second as he sent me a wink.
"This is Dan," Richard said pointing to a husky man standing at the door. "He will show you girls to your seats and escort you back to the car you arrived in after the concert and Joe will drive you back to the hotel." We were quickly ushered out of the dressing rooms.
"Wait I forgot my phone," Kylie realized when we were a few steps down the hallway.
"You can run back and go get it," Dan told her. We waited in the hallway for almost five minutes before she returned, phone in hand. "
"Thank you New York!" One of the members from the opening act yelled, snapping me out of my thoughts. "We had an amazing time to night, and hope you enjoy the rest of the show!"
"Oh my gosh, It is almost time!" Kylie screamed jumping up and down, before gripping my arm and pulling me to my feet.
We watch as the crew moved things around on the stage, to prepare for the main event. The audience growing restless by the second, I smiled as I looked at Kylie and Bethany who looked like a child on Christmas morning. When the lights cut and a guitar cord played the screaming got increasingly louder, the ear plugs dulling it slightly but the shrills still made me cringe.
My eyes darted on stage to see the four extremely attractive guys appear on stage, a rabble of butterflies took over my stomach. The beat picked up and the crowed started singing along, the fans soaking in the moment. After a few catchy songs I realized watching the four goof balls running around was surprisingly entertaining.
"I never realized how sensual they were!" Michelle screamed into my ear.
"I feel like we should have definitely given the girls 'the talk' before coming here!" I yelled back
"Heck you should have given me the talk cause those boys are H.O.T."
Laughing my gaze went back to the stage, only to get lost in his green eyes for the third time today. I could see his lips moving as if they were on auto pilot but nothing registered, the screams and people around us completely vanished. My heart was erratically pounding inside my chest when he smiled down at me. "Are you okay?" He mouthed.
I nodded vigorously, before returning the smile, mine paling in comparison to his broad grin.
"Harry? Lad if you are quite finished we are in the middle of a show" Louis laughed into the microphone.
"Sorry 'bout that," Harry's thick accent filled the room as he walked away from me. "How is everyone doing tonight?" Screams filled the arena in reply. "Are you having a good time?" Harry laughed as it got even louder. He managed to get the crowd to participate in making various sounds that should stay in the bedroom not at a concert. "At this time we would like to thank all the Mums, Dads, Aunts, Uncles, Brothers, Sisters, boyfriends, girlfriends, basically anyone who brought someone here tonight. Thank you for spending your night with us, this song is for you. This is Little Things." Harry walked toward the center of the stage where the rest of the boys were sitting, and took a spot near our seats.
I listened to the sweet lyrics, my stomach did a back flip when I met Harry's eyes for a brief moment.
The rest of the concert was a blur, my mind spinning in a million diffrent directions. Staring up at this beautiful man who for whatever reason took interest in me, and why I wasn't sure. But my body was betraying me, my brained turned to mush, my stomach fluttered and my heart dropped. This man I have talked to a total of two times was making me feel like a infatuated teenage girl.
