I dumped the stack of used paper plates in the trash can and turned around to see Harry walk towards me with the pizza boxes.

"Thanks for helping me clean up, the lads are useless," He jokes. I looked around him to see, the six of them sitting around the coffee table playing what looks like a very interesting game of poker.

"You're welcome," I smiled at him before looking down at my feet and walking away towards the poker game. Before I could take two steps I felt a large hand grab mine, I turned back to see Harry watching me.

"Will you come sit on the balcony with me for a little bit?" He asked hesitantly looking into my eyes, a small pink tint on his cheeks.

"Yeah, come on." I said pulling him in front of me, so he could lead the way.

I kept my head down as we walked through the living area where the poker game was, my hand still tucked safely into Harry's larger one. Harry used his free hand to open the sliding door, pulling me out with him, the crisp summer air wrapped around me. I let Harry lead me to the patio sofa that sat in a dark corner of the balcony.

"I love New York this time of year," he said breaking the peaceful silence that was between us, I could see him watching me from the corner of his eye so I gave him a small nod in agreement.

We both lose ourselves in our own thoughts, watching the New York night life. After a few minutes of quiet I turned my head towards Harry to see a crease above his eyebrows. "A penny for your thoughts?"

"I don't think they are worth much," Harry mumbled.

"Let me be the judge of that."

He took a deep breath and shifted his body so he could face me better, "I was just thinking about ways to be able to see you again before we both have to leave New York, but then I realized I don't even know if you want to see me again."

"Believe it or not I have had a fantastic time today," I reach out and grabbed the hand he had resting on his knee. "And I would love to see you again, but I just don't know if that is a good idea."

His smile that began forming quickly disappeared, "Why not?"

I racked my brain trying to think of some viable excuses, unable to think of any I ended up going with the truth, "Because you are impossible not to like."

His hundred watt grin covered his face, "You like me?"

"I didn't say that."

"Yeah you kinda did love," he teased.

"Ugh," I said pulling my hand away from his and turning back to face the city.

"New York," Harry laughed pulling my hand back into his. "Can I tell you a secret?"

I ignored him watching as a couple walked down the sidewalk below.

"I have never been as infatuated with someone as I have been with you these past 24 hours," Harry admitted putting a hand under my chin so I would look him in the eye. "After last night when you got off the elevator I haven't been able to get you off my mind. I checked my phone constantly throughout the day, just hoping you would text, I felt like it was 5 years ago and I have a school boy crush on you. I don't know what it is about you but it feels like you put some magic spell on me."

I stared at the man sitting in front of me completely speechless.

"Just give me a chance, when do you leave back home?"

"Day after tomorrow," I stuttered.

"That soon?" He frowns. "Well tomorrow night you are all mine."

"My sister-"

"They won't miss you for one night please? What is the worst that could happen, it ends up being a total disaster and we go our separate ways?"

"No, that would be the best." Harry gave me a confused expression, "the worst would be that I start liking you."

"Why would that be a bad thing?" Harry questioned.

"Because look at yourself Harry, you're painfully beautiful and your life is adventurous and exciting. While I am the exact opposite, this is the first and probably the last time I go anywhere worth bragging about. And if I start to like you, I don't know if I can protect myself when it's all said and done."

"New York, you do realize I am asking you for one date not your hand in marriage."

"I'm not stupid," I glared.

Harry sniggered, "I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you feel like that, but you are just looking for reasons to back out. Stand up."

I looked at him baffled as he raised up from the sofa and pulled me along with him. Harry dragged me to the rail of the balcony.

"You aren't gonna push me off now are you?" I joked trying to lift the heavy mood.

"Shh," he chuckled. "Look at them," Harry pointed to the couple I was watching earlier. They were now waiting inline outside of a restaurant smiling widely at each other. "Not one of them is stressing over what the future holds, they are living in the moment."

I watched as he leaned into her and whispers something into her ear that made her blush, before she playfully hit his chest. My heart felt like it was falling out of my chest.

"Brooklynn," Harry whispered softly before wrapping an arm around my waist and pulling me in. "I can't promise you that tomorrow night won't end in a disaster and we end up hating each other. But I can promise you if we don't go on this incredible date I already have planed then we will both regret it."

"Already planed?" I teased, his lips dangerous close to mine.

"Yup, it's all up here," Harry tapped in temple.

"Okay." I breathed my voice barely audible.

"Okay?"

"Yes."

Harry leans forward our lips centimeters apart and I could feel his warm breath fan my face. I close my eyes waiting for his lips to meet mine but a loud shrill from inside the hotel room made us jump and we pull away. We looked to see if anyone was watching us, only to see the poker game still in full swing.

"Why don't we go join them?" Harry asked as his strong frame pressed against my back. "We can continue this tomorrow."
