Damn it, damn this bastard. The fucking audacity this bastard has to say things like that when people like himself are the sole reason lower class people are oppressed and suffer. My blood is boiling and every inch of my body wants my fist to meet his damn face, but I'll be disqualified if I do so. What the hell should I do?

"The proctor is most likely one of those nasty upper class that will likely oppress people that are lower class such as you. Try not to fall for his mental oppression or his provocation. Keep your calm at all times, got it?"

"Alright, I'll consider that."

As Markus remembers another conversation with the mysterious merchant earlier, he loosens the clench of his fist and takes a deep breath. The proctor was dumbfounded by what he did next. Markus  walked past him without a word and went to his table like nothing happened.

As Markus remembers another conversation with the mysterious merchant earlier, he took a deep breath and loosen his clenching fist. The proctor was dumbfounded by what Markus did next. He walked past the proctor without a word and went to his table like nothing happened. The proctor was infuriated by the kind of response Markus had given him.

That damn filth…did he just ignore me? Don't push your luck, you worm. You might have been personally invited by our highness, but it's meaningless if you can't pass this exam. Don't forget that you're still within my grasp brat.

The proctor lets out an evil smirk before saying another word.

"Alright."

*Snap*

"Very well, I shall now explain how the second phase works."

As the proctor snapped his finger for another time, magic circles started appearing at the top of everyone's table. While most participants are stunned by the proctor's another magic spell, some of them are starting to get bored of it. The proctor then walks back towards the front. As he did so, he walked past Markus and their eyes met. It was only for a moment yet the way they glared at one another was intense. The proctor then continued walking until he finally reached the front.

"For this exam, all of you are going to use your magic to replicate the items I'll be showing here using those marble tables with magic circles I've applied onto it. Those magic circles will glow green once it detects the item you created is similar enough or roughly the same as the item shown here. Since all of you use different attributes, there's no need to replicate the matter of the item. All you have to do is replicate the shape, mass and texture of the item. There will be 3 levels of difficulty for this phase which are novice, intermediate and expert. Each of these difficulty levels has 10 levels with different items. In order to complete each one of them, the item you created must be accurate and identical enough to be detected by the magic circle. You must complete it within a given time before it runs out."

*Snap*

"Otherwise it'll be considered a failure and the magic circle will start damaging your table with each failure. The table can only withstand the damage from the magic circle by roughly 3 times."

After the proctor snapped his finger, a huge hourglass appeared floating on the ground next to him. To everyone's surprise, a number can be seen above the hourglass with 4 zeros and a colon in the middle. This hourglass was big enough to be seen at the back.

"So, what will happen if you fail more than 3 times? That magic circle will destroy your table at your fourth fail. And once your table is destroyed, you're immediately eliminated from this exam. In order for you to pass this exam is-"

The proctor stopped midway as he noticed Markus doing something.

"What do you think you're doing, participant 146?!"
