●SIDDHANT

"Diya, let's go," I said as we finished having dinner.

"Where are you going, bhai?" Anu asked.

"She wants to learn how to drive." Diyas eyes widened at my words.

Before she could say anything, I walked away soon after she followed me.

"Why did you say I wanted to learn how to drive?" She sat inside the car.

"Isn't that true?" I put on the seat belt.

"No, you wanted to teach me. I didn't want to learn." She pointed her finger towards me.

"Then why are you here?" I raised my brow.

"Because - because you wanted to teach me," She repeated herself.

"You could have just said that in front of Anu,"she added.

"I didn't because I didn't agree to teach her driving," I said with a straight face.

"Then why me?"
Looks like I got a chance to tease her.

"Because you are my wife." I could see her cheeks getting red.
I don't know why, but I love the effect I have on her. More importantly, I love to tease her. The normal ,savage, sharp tongued Diya changing into a sweet, innocent, and speechless Diya is maybe the favourite part of my day.

"Why now?" She said

"Hmm?" I asked, not understanding her question.

"Why are you suddenly addressing me as your wife? You didn't say that before. So what changed after you returned from london?"

The bet my mind said, but the bet was only about not ignoring her. Then why did I myself propose to teach her driving. I hate it. Neither I taught Anu nor I agreed to teach Mayank, then why her?
Even in the office, I couldn't control myself and went to her cabin when that guy held her hands. What's wrong with me?

"You didn't answer," her voice broke my thoughts.

"Isn't that what you asked for a week ago?" I asked her, still confused

"So you agree to treat our marriage as a normal arrange marriage?" Her eyes had hope in it, which I couldn't bear to destroy, so I just nodded.  But I am feeling guilty.
Am I wrong for lying to her??

"Let's exchange the seats now." I said so that she could sit in the driving seat

She sat on the driving seat, and I started teaching her.

"First of all, the basics the left one is the clutch ,the middle one for brakes, and the right one is accelerator,"

"Use your left leg for clutch and right leg for brakes and accelerator."

"Now, let's make your feet habitual to the three basics. I will take the name and you press them."

"Clutch,"  she pressed her feet on the clutch.

"Brake," she raised her left feet.

"The right feet, Diya."I said sternly

5 minutes later

"Stop, you need to press clutch while changing gear."I shouted

" Why are you yelling at me. I am driving for the first time." She retorted

"You call this driving?" I raised my eyebrow.

"I should have gone to driving instructor. At least they won't yell at me." She said, throwing daggers from her eyes.

"You are making too many mistakes. Obviously, I am going to yell at you,"

"You know what? Anu is so lucky that she didn't learn from you."
"I don't want to learn from you. I will find a driving instructor," she added.
