DIYA
I greeted bua, touching her feet along with Sid as it was our first meeting.
"Bhabi, I was so excited to meet you," Mayank said with a grin while I just smiled awkwardly.
It's not that I don't like him or something, but we just met, and I take some time to be comfortable around people. By some time, I mean 15 to 20 minutes.
We were all sitting in the living room talking to each other for some time. By now, I have understood why Anu doesn't like bua. She is too narrow-minded and orthodox. And the main point she loves taunting.
On the other hand, mayank was just the opposite. He was lively and sweet. And as far as I have noticed, he loves teasing Siddhant.
Though bua has attitude, she is quite talkative. Till we had dinner, she had finished talking about all her neighbours , how one of her neighbours never does chores and her house is always a mess and how Gupta's daughter was caught smoking with her boyfriend.
Meanwhile, Mayank was sitting with us talking about his crush.
"Bhaiya, give me some tips to impress my crush." He said for the third time, joining his hands requesting Sid."No," Sid said blankly AGAIN.
I looked at Mayank,by his expression, he looked irritated at this point.
"Obviously, how would you give me advice when you don't have any?" he snickered.
"Bhabi, maybe you don't know he has been single all his life." He said, pointing his finger at Siddhant.
Well, that was surprising. I didn't expect him to be single all his life.
"Look who is here." we heard a voice, which was obviously Raghav.
He was surprised to see bua and mayank, but he seemed quite familiar to them he greeted bua and hugged mayank.
"Kaisa hai?" He asked. ( How are you?)
" Ekdam jhakash," Mayank said, running his hands through his hair. (Too Good)"So, what were you all talking about?" Raghav asked, sitting with us.
Mayank smirked and answered ," Just how bhaiya was single all his life."
"Not only single but single to the point where we thought he was..." Raghav laughed as my eyes widened.
"Aur tune toh jaise duniya bhar ki ladkiyaa pata rakhi hai." Siddhant taunted.
"I was single all my life too, but I didn't avoid girls like they were plague." Raghav retorted
"You were single?" Anu spoke this time.
"Yeah, why are you asking?" Raghav was obviously curious.
"Ohh, that I found a love letter in your bag when you were in college." Anu said, fidgeting his finger in her dress.
"That must have been for Siddhant. I was not with anyone." Raghav explained.
"Exactly, you were on the same boat as me, you didn't have a girlfriend, you avoided girls and just like me you didn't have any girl that you like." Siddhant spoke.
"No, he had a crush." I covered my mouth as soon as I realised what I said.
Raghav widened his eyes and looked at me accusingly.
"What?" Siddhant said, shocked.
"Nothing. Nothing, it was a mistake." I tried to cover up.
"You had a crush but never told me?" Siddhant said accusingly.
