"and do you think the medication is helping?" the doctor asked and gunil nodded. "why, of course!" he laughed.

but his therapist didn't believe him, noting something down before looking up at him again. "did you take the pills today?"

the answer was a clear no, but gunil just chuckled. "couldn't find them today". yet that wasn't effective at all.

"gunil, you're at a mental hospital, you were supposed to receive your medication this morning." the nineteen year old was just rocking back and forth.

it took him some moments to answer. "so? the pills always make me so tired, i sleep the whole day! are you trying to euthanize me, miss forgot-your-name?"

the therapist was left shocked, yet couldn't stop gunil's train of thoughts. "that must be it - i knew it! you're keeping me here so you can kill me!"

the boy stood up in shock, his body shaking as he looked at her. trying to stay calm and radiate comfort, she spread out her arms carefully. "gunil, no one's trying to kill you" she tried reassuring him.

but any try to get him to drop the thought had no use. "why do you want me dead?!" he shouted, feeling so scared out of a sudden.

the woman tried to make him sit down by asking gently, but he just shook his head.

"i don't- i can't be here anymore!"

so the boy ran out of the room. in the hallway, he listened to his instinct, that told him to run away.

without turning back, gunil started running. therapists and guards eyed him weirdly, not understanding what was wrong.

but there were some suspicions as soon as gunil opened the main entrance and sprinted out of it like his life depended on it.

every guard and therapist knew gunil - neither of them have seen a manic episode being that severe.

gunil ran without looking back a single time. he felt some guards chasing him, telling him to stop running.

but why would he listen to them? "they'll kill me.." he mumbled to himself as he continued in this pace, going even faster, ignoring the burning in his lungs.

once he noticed that they weren't following him anymore, proud that he has outrunned them, he noticed that he was standing in front of an old TV tower.

looking up at it, gunil had one thing on his mind.

"that doesn't look too high - i'll survive the fall."
