"Push through! Keep going!" Lion shouted into the radio. It was their third time breaching a wave of zombies. Navigating through the city's twisting streets, they had encountered wave after wave of the undead.

The zombies, slow and sluggish as they were, should not have posed much of a threat to the mercenaries. But the sheer number of them—scattered across every corner of the city—was overwhelming. It was as if the zombies had emerged from nowhere all at once, driving the mercenaries to the brink of madness. And the mastermind behind this was none other than the green-haired Mother zombie, the orchestrator of their nightmare, whose presence loomed like a shadow over their escape.

Wave after wave of zombies came at them, but the Mother zombie remained, always lurking just out of reach, commanding the horde from afar. It was hard to believe, but no matter how fast the cars sped through the city, they couldn't shake the Mother zombie. The many twists, turns, and the zombie obstacles only aided the Mother's relentless pursuit. The scariest part? The Mother was fast, too fast. The city felt like its playground, where it effortlessly ran through streets and between buildings, always within sight but never close enough for a direct confrontation.

The Mother zombie was clearly wary of the mercenaries, keeping its distance. Yet beneath that caution was deep-seated resentment. It had never forgotten the times it narrowly escaped death at their hands. This time, it was out for revenge.

"Roar!!! Roar!!!" Another deafening howl split the air. The mindless zombies, responding to their leader's call, began to shift and move, trying to encircle the three speeding vehicles.

"Damn it! There's just too many of them!" Black Bear cursed, glaring at the staggering figures approaching from the distance.

"Come on, you bastards! Here's your Christmas present!" Tiger yelled from the lead vehicle, hurling a grenade into the mass of zombies ahead.

Boom!

Blood and limbs flew as the explosion tore through the horde. Hound, half-hanging out of the car's roof, fired the mounted machine gun in a wild spray of bullets.

...

"Python, cover the rear! Don't let them trap us!" Silver Fox called out as he drove, closely following the lead car through the narrow breach they had created.

Jessica's cold eyes gleamed as she grabbed a light machine gun, mowing down the zombies swarming behind them.

...

"Damn b****es!!" Black Bear roared, watching as the breach in the zombie horde slowly closed. From above, it looked as though the two leading cars were racing ahead, while the rear car was sinking into the endless sea of zombies.

"Damn it!" The car jolted and shook as they rammed into the undead. No matter how hard Snow Leopard pressed the gas, it felt like they were stuck in a sea of mud, unable to move forward.

Seeing the endless waves of zombies closing in, a flicker of despair crossed Black Bear's face.

Boom!

Explosions erupted on all sides of the car, sending chunks of flesh and debris flying across the windshield. The scene was a bloody mess.

"Move! Move! Come on, damn it, MOVE!" Snow Leopard's eyes were bloodshot as he slammed the pedal to the floor, catching a glimpse of a narrow escape route up ahead. Once again, the desperate will to survive surged within him.

Not far ahead, Jessica glanced back at the car stuck in the horde. Her hand reached for another grenade.

Boom! Boom! Boom!
