It looks like there are already a few of you here. And the prologue of our story has just ended, so I decided it was the perfect time to talk directly to you.
Almost 1k views in two weeks? Wow I really appreciate it. Unfortunately, there are no comments that would let me know your opinions, but I hope to see some of them soon.
Also before I published this story my friend who was the first person to read it, asked me why I choose Hades as the god. I decided to answer here too, cause propaply part of you may have the same question.
Well, the first thing is that greek mythology is probably the most well-known among the whole world thanks to educational systems and pop culture, so I really doubt that any of you hears this name for the first and you can see my inspiration coming from original myths to this fic.
Second reason is Olympic gods have many main roles in the plot of oc story, so choosing another one seemed natural to me. We know that Zeus and Hera were the most powerful familias in this universe history. We also met Hestia, Demeter, Hephaestus, Hermes, Artemis, Apollo, etc. We even heard a little about Poseidon and actions of his followers. However Hades... Only about his helmets and Hermes mentioned him in a few words in one of the novels, but that's all.
Third and most important - he was my favourite god during my lessons about Greece in school despite his secondary role.
About the other oc characters, I decided to bring gods that have some potential. Supreme gods like Shiva, Odin, Amaterasu and Ra really have the power.
Freyr is very interesting to me. I know in original Danmachi gods don't have bloodlines with each other, but the hell, he's a twin brother of Freya. I don't think I need to say anything more.
Izanagi might be the most powerful diety in Japanese pantheon, but he never had selfish desires, so to me he was an obvious choice as someone to stay in Upper World to keep an order.
There are also a few characters who had just a few or only one line, some only mentioned and some I won't tell you now, cause I don't wanna give you any spoilers.
