It had been a week since Lexie's first phone call with her brother, and it was going well, she was learning more about him each day even if she was the one doing most of the talking, but that was just her being herself, the teen had also spoken to Sam, Tyler's wife and seen many photos and videos of Mollie, much to her request.
Leah had also been able to speak to Tyler and his wife, it was nice to know that at least 1 person Lexie grew up with had done good and set a good example for the teenager. Leah had also been able to plan for Lexie to meet her brother and his family in 2 weeks time, she was yet to know of this but with the way she had been telling Leah's whole team about her brother and niece she guessed it would go pretty well.
But in the meantime Leah was sat on the sofa surrounded by different papers and her Laptop, doing some work and getting sent emails from the coaches and people asking her about her coaches, Jonas' quick dismissal. Lexie however had been full of energy ever since she came back from school, she'd had a good day and a better start to the week which only helped boost her mood
Leah: "Lex, please be careful" she sighed as the teen almost ran into the coffee table once again, she was so full of energy that she simply couldn't sit down, she tried playing some football in the garden but only got bored after a few minutes so decided in just doing whatever
Lexie: "Yeah, yeah" she shouted running back into the kitchen before coming back again
Lexie: "hey Jude, don't make it sad" she began to sing whilst running not caring if the lyrics were right or not
Leah: "Lex, just try and calm down please" she said sitting back to look through another email she'd been sent, it seemed that they were only piling up along with the paper beside her, and the energetic teen definitely didn't help the stress she was feeling
Lexie: "Oh shit, sorry" she said standing back after she'd ran into the sofa
Leah: "Lexie just stop, please just calm down and stay still for a bit" she snapped not even comprehending the words that she'd just said
Lexie: "Alright" she said walking up to her room leaving Leah to realise what she'd just said
Leah knew that Lexie couldn't help it, and yet because she was so stressed with everything she'd snapped at the one thing that she wasn't stressed at, over a simple mistake. If anything she blamed herself for Lexie's energy, she'd been overhyped the minute she'd came back from school and Leah had just stuck her in the house.
Lexie: "I'm going to Katie's" she shouted through the living room before shutting the front door behind her bringing leah out of her thoughts, not even giving her time to say anything
She knew if she was going to Katie's she would be there in five minutes, so as soon as the five minutes were up leah didn't hesitate to call the Irish woman
Katie: "Hey le, you alright"
Leah: "Katie is lex there"
Katie: "Er no why"
Leah: "Fuck, i snapped at her because i was so stressed and it wasn't even her fault, she had been very overhyped since she got home from school and i just put her in the house but she couldn't relax and i just snapped"
Katie: "Le, i know you wouldn't have meant it and- wait one sec"
Leah: "What"
