"Please don't walk on the streets alone next time. If you want to go for a walk, I'll gift you 10-acre land. You can modify it according to your wish. Don't go to such classless places. What would have happened if I didn't accompany you?" He put forth his next to next questions. I don't know what got into him.

"Arjun, it's a crowded area. What could he have done to me?" I asked him being clueless. Then he seemed to calm down a bit. "Okay, let's not talk about this incident. I don't want to ruin our dinner date by getting tensed."

Now only I understand he got this much tensed because his dinner plan is getting ruined by someone else; actually, it's already 6.30 and I cannot go home late beyond 8, so I informed him to drop me at home by 8. He sighed at my request. These beliefs don't matter to him; we got engaged. I even doubt he has any respect for our engagement; to him, my decisions matter; he only requires my approval.According to him, when I said okay to this relationship, my life got bound with his, and I became his. But today, I saw a different Arjun. I saw his other face.

Then only I started to notice how the people in the house treat him. Everyone is being cautious with him. No one utters a word extra. I even tried a lot to mend my relationship with a headmaid. But she refused to even utter her word extra. I hope one day these people will cope with me. Now we are having our dinner at his grand mansion.

He has been asking me to have dinner with him here. I refused him each and every time. Today, things didn't go well for me. So he took the chance. "Arjun I have been reminding myself to ask you about how Uncle is doing, but I forgot each and every time," I asked him normally. Actually, Arjun's mother died when he was studying 8th standard. Arjun's dad was a businessman, but not as infamous and big as Arjun. After his mom died, his dad's legs got paralyzed, and he became a person on the wheelchair. He has never introduced me to him. Suddenly he clicked his tongue, getting annoyed, looked at me through my eyes, and said,

"We can talk about him some other time; I am not in my mood. I don't know. Why do you always drag someone else during our personal time?  Don't you have anything to discuss with me about us, about our family?". He said while holding my hands and looking straight into my eyes. "Yeah, that's what I am doing, Arjun. He is also our family, right?" I asked him. "Yes, yes, he is also our family; our family is very big; it consists of you, your mother, your father, and me, my father; everyone is included in our family; I am not opposing it. Now I want to discuss about us, about you and me. Now I am seriously wondering if you are considering me as your family or not, because you always worry about others than me," he complained, narrowing his eyes. I made an 'I'm done face'. "It's not like that. What are you expecting me to ask? You are in front of me, and we are talking literally three hours a day, and I know about everything that happens in your day. Okay, you want me to ask about your life? Did you have your breakfast, lunch, or brunch? How was your work? How did you feel today? Did it go well?" I said, trying to explain to him."I'm not telling you to ask all these questions. I bet if any girl was in your place, she would have asked me to buy a Rolls-Royce car or her favorite bike, dress, house, etc. At least she would have talked with me about the house she would live in after marriage. Why are you not asking me all these?". "You have already informed me that we are going to live in your mansion. Then what's more in asking about that? And honestly, I hate your idea of being in your mansion away from both of our parents. I'm already worrying about how they both would manage without us. I'm planning to shift them to your nearby mansions, and I won't agree with you to let alone have servants take care of Uncle." Finally, I let out all that has poked my heart.Arjun opened his mouth to retard, but before words could escape his mouth, I said,"His legs are paralyzed. He can't do his work. He needs a servant's help. I know it. I can't trust servants with my family member's life." He was blankly staring at my face silently with uttermost attention until I said these last few lines.

"When you were a kid, did your parents, let alone the servants, take care of you? No, right? None of the Indian parents would let a servant alone with their kid. Then how will that kid leave his or her parents with servants when he gets old?". I don't know what got into him.Now he got pissed. I don't know how I am going to handle him with his anger issues. He stood up from the table and walked around it a few times. "Okay, we are taking my father with us," he said while sitting on a chair again. My face lit up instantly. I have always dreamt of living with a big family after my marriage. That doesn't mean I'm sad that I don't have any brother-in-law, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, or any other relatives. I hugged him and said, "Okay, now it's already eight. Will you please drop me at my home?" I asked. As soon as I asked the question, he broke the hug with a sigh, which washed over the relieved feeling away from his face.
