I was shocked to hear the truth. I have always doubted him but I have always asked him for a reason. Am I the one who is at fault because he couldn't explain himself. I could even accept his act of paralyzing my father in law but I would never accept him killing my friend he might be the criminal. Arjun could have punished him by handing him over to the police.

Arjun's pov

"Do something. Wake him up," he could hear his friend shouting. He felt his body starts to shut down. Slowly everything starts to replay on his mind. His mother's screaming while his father beating her. His sister's speechless body on his hand. His marriage. His promise to her.

"I promise you sita. I will fulfill all your wishes as your husband unless you ask icecream with high fever"

His eyes jolted open. Doctors rushed to him. Asked him not to strain too much. They gave sedatives. Two days passed in a blink. Doctors gave permission to discharge him.

"Arjun let's go," his friend said

"Where is sita"

"I think at your house"

"Ask the lawyer to come with divorce papers"

" Ok," saying that his friend made him sit on car and bid him bye

When he entered his room there she was sitting looking at their marriage photo.

"The lawyer is coming.you can get the divorce papers signed and go to your home," he said.

"Why did you kill Ashwin?" She asked looking at the photo with hatred

"He raping killed my sister," he said with unchanged calm and composed tone

"Show me the proofs that he is the killer," she asked.

"Take the gun from the drawer. You can kill me after proving that he isn't the criminal," he said

My friend came with divorce papers and said "Now you both can sign the divorce Papers and part your ways apart"

"I won't sign it" she said

"I will sign after proving my friend's innocence"

"Ask the helicopter to come,I am leaving this country. Don't let anyone to disturb me. I'll be in the new Island. If she found any valid proofs send her there or inform me I'll come here get shot by her"

Within minutes and helicopter came. He went away from there,hand overing entire control to his friend. As soon as he leaves a dead laugh pierced the calmness of the mansion.
