After final exams and stressful studying days, the last day of school had finally come, and the band reunited with the swimmers on their swimming club to celebrate their last day to start summer. Daisuki didn't really want to go but let's just say the girls needed Nagisa to push her to have some fun. Akane made lunch for everyone and Kurumi did the sweets. The day seemed nice and sunny, and the group were having their fun. At the end of the day, Daisuki left home early since she was so tired, and Kurumi's parents called her saying to go back home since it was getting late. It was the Higuri sisters left with the guys, there was some food left since Akane made a meal for a whole army. Between Edmichiro and Nagisa were eating what was left of the potato salad, Akane was falling asleep in the pool since it started to get more quiet. She was awoke by a small poke to the head, she blinked twice and saw Rei noticing she was a little sleepy. She got a little surprised and yelped, she straightened up shaking her head.

Rei: "You should get home if you are so tired"

Aka: "I'm not tired! I was only closing my eyes..." She crossed her arms, with hopes for him to believe what she said. Makoto laughed a bit and jumped in the pool, Edmichiro saw this and ran behind to bother her sister for a bit, along came Nagisa and they kept on splashing her as she covered her face. She took a deep breath and hides underwater swimming away, she poked her head out and they laughed more.

Aka: "Not funny guys!" She kept stepping back until she bumped into Haruka... again. He poked her back emotionless as usual.

Haru: "Again, huh?" Akane stood there in thought until she actually saw the guy smile, she blushed like crazy. She went out of the pool since it was pretty late, and packed up. Edmichiro looked at her with a begging face.

Edmi: "Do we have to leave?" She asked childishly.

Aka: "It is late you know, we need to get home and 'work with things' remember?" Edmichiro knew exactly what she meant and paused, her face saddens and nods.

Aka: "Sorry, we need to get going, we have to run some errands soon" Nagisa and Makoto nod, Haruka stared wondering what she meant by 'work with things'.

The sisters rushed to the hospital, they stopped by where a nurse was.

Aka: "Excuse me, I'm looking for Mrs. Motome?" The nurse nods.

Nurse: "Of course, B101. Miss Shiro! Akane and Edmichiro are here" A young, long black haired beautiful nurse appeared, she smiled warmly, giving the sisters a warm welcome back to the hospital.

Shiro: "Hello again miss Higuri... and Edmichiro, you seem to have grown some inches" Edmichiro smiles sadly and nods. The nurse opens the door their mother remains in. There she laid, sick, weak, but still tried to survive the pain.
Edmi: "Hokaza... We're so sorry we're late, Akane and I went to celebrate our last day at a club from school with some friends."

Mum: "Ah, I see... It's good you girls had fun... But please let me know before you go, okay? I can't sleep well knowing you girls are going out without telling me."

Aka: "Sorry... We made these for you" Akane took out a blue box with decorative flowers and a pink ribbon. When their mother opened it, she saw chocolate and vanilla macaroons. Akane and Edmichiro knew how much their mother loved macaroons.

Mum: "Oh this looks real good" She smiled warmly as the girls sat on their seats to speak with their mother for the little time they had left to leave the room.

After twenty minutes the time passed and the beautiful nurse opened the door.
Shiro: "I'm really sorry but time's up." Both sisters frowned walking out the door after a long hug from their mother. They knew that she had little time left for her to pass away, but their mother always taught them that there is no reason to cry, but to live on happily full of her memories, and that she will see papa again. They walked out of the hospital, exhausted after a long day, they had fun, and they were glad they saw their mother again after three months.
