After that ominous call, Jae-Yoon hurriedly took a cab to head home while actively trying to contact Sang-Hyun who put him on voicemail.

He didn't even have time to shower or anything, all he was able to do was to get dressed. The stickiness was still filling him up. He was sure that was going to cause him some issues down the line but that wasn't important right now. What was is the mysterious call that he had received from his mother, her tone, everything made him believe that something bad had happened and if it's not linked to his parents, it surely had to do with Sang-Hyun and that thought scared him to the highest point.

At arrival, he handed the driver money, not knowing how much it was and told him to keep the change before rushing out, knocking on his door.

The door opened and the sight that was offered to him changed his fear into something more fiery, more boiling inside of him.

The person that opened the door was none other than his twin sister Jae-Hee who was smiling yet so brightly at the sight of him. Her arm was interlocked with Sang-Hyun who was actively looking away, avoiding him.

"Come in ! Come in !"

She stated enthusiastically, making a way for him while he could only look at them with disdain and discontempt. He brushed past them, mirroring Sang-Hyun's behavior, ignoring him too since he was too busy hanging out with his twin instead of answering his damn phone. And to say that Jae-Yoon was stupid enough to be scared that something bad had occurred, that he might have taken his own life. But no, he was here, enjoying himself in good company.

He didn't know what this feeling was but the silver haired man always hated it, always pushed it down, scared that it would consume everything that came across in a blazing fire, impossible to tame.

"Hello Mom. Why did you scare me instead of just telling me she was here ?"

Jae-Yoon asked after joining his mother in the kitchen. She was preparing a huge feast, making everyone salive at the sight of it.

"My dear, I'm sorry. She requested you but told me to not say anything about her being here which was a shock to us too !" She explained herself calmly but apologetically.

"Mm. It's fine. I'm not in the mood, I'm going." He said gloomily.

His mom caught up on that and came, holding his hands, then caressed his cheeks and forehead to see if he had caught a fever.

"What happened ? Are you sick ? No... Are you hurt somewhere ? Did you fight with Sang-Hyun ? Stay. His sister and dad are coming over too."

Too many questions. Couldn't compute them all. The only word that stood up amongst all of them was "Dad".

"His dad is coming over ?" Asked in shock.

"Well... Yes. Our kids came back from England and seeing how close they are. It's time they announce their engagement. You don't think so ? I know Sang-Hyun said that nothing was going on between them but they can't fool us ! And they form such a beautiful couple."

Jae-Yoon was about to tell her to cancel his arrival, not wanting his best friend to suffer more than he already did but the sentence couldn't come out.

"Couple ? Them ? A couple ? What a freaking joke."

"What ?" His mom asked, confused.

He didn't realize he had said that loudly. He just brushed it off by saying that Sang-Hyun was still standing by his statement before taking off, snatching his best friend from the hands of the vulture that was his sister.

"Leave him alone for fuck's sake. He doesn't like you and he never will. You're just embarrassing yourself at this point. Go find someone else seriously, it's been years."

He didn't know where this rudeness came from but before he could stop his words from spewing, he had already offended Jae-Hee and flew to another place; his bedroom, far from everyone with, obviously, Sang-Hyun that he was helplessly dragging with him, unable to escape since his grip was too tight.

"The words you said to her apply for me too, you know."

The pierced man said in a monotone voice, looking at an angered Jae-Yoon who didn't want to loosen the strong catch, he had him in.

"Shut up. They don't."

"Oh yeah ? Why ? I'm a creep. I have loved you for years, ever since we were young. You never reciprocated. What difference there is ? Except for the fact that she didn't do half of the things that I did to you. I am way worse, actually."

"SHUT UP !" He yelled, feeling tears rolling down his eyes at the mere hearing of Sang-Hyun degrading himself. "It's not the same. I... I just hate it when she..."

"Are you jealous ?"

His tone was like a robot talking. No emotions behind it and it just showed how tired he must be.

"No...? Yes ? Maybe ? I don't know... I don't know ! And why would I even be jealou-"

His lips were intercepted intensely by Sang-Hyun's who kissed him hardly but most of all sensually. Not expecting it, Jae-Yoon screamed inaudibly of surprise before deepening the kiss.

What do you mean he was the bane of Sang-Hyun's existence ? What about him ? Why couldn't he push him away ? Why was he so weak when it came to him ? Forgetting all his wrongs and accepting unacceptable behaviors because it was him. He knew it deep down and not only him, Woo-Sung too, if it was anyone else, they would never ever be forgiven and forgotten but he was and always will be the exception.

Although he didn't know if he was indeed jealous and if it was the case, he was certain it had to do with him not wanting Sang-Hyun to leave his side ever again but Jae-Hee was the last person he wanted to see his best friend with and he had his reasons.
