"Nothing. We were just talking." Responded Jae-Yoon while trying to get rid of the sweat that still hung onto him.

"Yeah. Right."

She paused for a second, suspiciously. She knew what was going on but didn't want to comment on that, feeling like she overstepped her boundaries for a moment now when they could've been dating during all these years.

"What did you want ?" He asked, getting irritated by her presence.

"I wanted to talk to you. Like... Urgently."

She looked at Sang-Hyun, shyly as a way to ask him to leave and he was about to obey before Jae-Yoon grabbed his wrist to stop him.

"You can stay. You can tell me what you want in front of him." He wasn't having it and his tone was showing it.

"Why do you hate me so much ?"

She was going to apologize and discuss the elephant in the room, being his obvious relationship with his best friend but his intonation was extremely cold and full of loath that words sprouted out of her mouth before she could even realize it. He was surprised at first before feeling aggravated and he could just scoff it off sarcastically while saying :

"Me ? Hate you ? Let me laugh. You just piss me off and more so when you're trying to freaking date a man that doesn't even care about your ass. No pun intended."

"If I knew you both were dating, I would've never tried to pursue him even in my wildest dream. I didn't know he was gay, bi, pan or whatever and I didn't know you were. Why do you hold an immense grudge against me ? Did I do something wrong ?"

She was almost brought to tears. She didn't know how her relationship with her twin brother fell off this hard or when. She could only blame herself not knowing the real reason behind all of this and if it was really Sang-Hyun, was it truly her fault for being oblivious and in love ? He was always there for her ever since she was young and naturally grew to like him, to love him even, solicited by both of their families.

"You did something wrong the moment where everything that was fucking mine became fucking yours and you didn't stop at that, you had to try to have Sang-Hyun for yourself."

The one they were talking about just stood there awkwardly, being held by the silver haired guy that was getting angrier and angrier as the time passed by. His reasoning was selfish but he could understand him. It wasn't his sister's fault for being born with a weak heart but being neglected for her sake and being deprived of everything while she had everything could only damage a growing child. Losing his best friend to someone he lost everything and everyone too could only make him more miserable and lonely than he ever was and so, he simply looked at him with saddened eyes while biting his lower lip.

"I DIDN'T TRY TO HAVE HIM. I DIDN'T KNOW YOU TWO WERE DATING."

"WE ARE NOT ! WE ARE NOT DATING AND WE FUCKING WILL NEVER BECAUSE I AM NOT GAY AND NEVER WILL BE. HE IS SIMPLY MY FREAKING BEST FRIEND AND YOU ARE FUCKING NOT ALLOWED TO TAKE HIM FROM ME."

Those words stung Sang-Hyun that still didn't say anything, he just lowered his head looking at his own feet, something that Jae-Hee noticed right away, slowly starting to understand a little bit the situation at hand.

Jae-Yoon, after his voice cracked following his words, broke down, realizing how possessive he was towards the one standing next to him. He couldn't figure those feelings out, they simply took him by surprise to the point of bringing him to tears, clenching onto his own clothes after letting go of him.

"Look, Jae-Yoon. You should really start to see the bigger picture here. I understand your frustration about what happened when we were young, the fact that Dad and Mom gave me everything because they were so afraid of losing me, you growing up resentful and all. And I sincerely apologize for causing you such troubles because you didn't deserve it but do you really think that it is why you are acting this way towards Sang-Hyun ? Do you think it's fair to him ? I have a question for you." She paused waiting for a response from him. When she saw that he was intrigued, she followed : "Be honest, if I were to pursue any of your friends romantically, whether they be a girl or a guy, would you react the same way ?"
