Y/N's hands tightened around the steering wheel as she pulled up to the Jeon family mansion, the sprawling estate that symbolized power, wealth, and legacy. Her mind raced, but there was a cold resolve in her chest. She wasn't going to rush home and tell Jungkook about the pregnancy. Not after what she had seen, not after everything he had done.

If he wants to play games, then fine, she thought. I'll play along.

She wasn't naive. Telling Jungkook now, while his mind was elsewhere-while his heart seemed to belong to another woman-wouldn't fix anything. It might even make things worse. No, she needed time. Time to figure out what her next move would be, time to decide if Jungkook even deserved to know that she was carrying his child.

As the car rolled to a stop, Y/N glanced at the mansion. It had been a while since she had visited Jungkook's grandfather. He had always been kind to her, treating her like the daughter he never had. But today, she wasn't just here for a friendly visit-she needed guidance, and she needed someone she could trust.

Taking a deep breath, she stepped out of the car and made her way up the grand stairs to the front entrance. The air was crisp, and the gardens surrounding the mansion were immaculate as always. But just as she reached the door, she noticed something that stopped her in her tracks.

Standing by the open patio, speaking casually with Jungkook's grandfather, was none other than Cha Eunwoo.

Y/N's eyes widened in surprise. What was he doing here? The memory of their brief encounter at the hospital flashed in her mind-his warm smile, the way he had caught her before she fell, his easygoing charm. She hadn't expected to see him again, let alone at the Jeon family estate.

Before she could react, Eunwoo glanced in her direction, his eyes lighting up with recognition. He gave her that same charming smile, as if their paths were meant to cross again.

"Y/N?" he called out, his voice carrying across the distance between them. "What a coincidence! We meet again."

Jungkook's grandfather turned as well, his weathered face breaking into a warm grin when he saw her. "Y/N! My dear, it's been too long."

Y/N forced a smile as she approached them, her heart racing slightly from the unexpected reunion with Eunwoo. She wasn't sure how to explain his presence or the fact that they had met just hours earlier.

"Grandfather," she greeted warmly, stepping forward to give him a gentle hug. "I've missed you."

"I've missed you too, Y/N," he replied, his voice full of affection. "You don't visit nearly enough. How is my grandson treating you?"

Y/N's heart skipped a beat at the question, but she maintained her composure. "He's... busy, as always," she replied carefully, not wanting to reveal the turmoil brewing inside her.

Eunwoo watched the exchange with mild curiosity, though his smile never faltered. "You two know each other?" he asked, glancing between Y/N and the older man.

"Of course," the grandfather said with a chuckle. "Y/N is my granddaughter-in-law. The love of Jungkook's life-or so I thought."

Y/N felt a pang in her chest at his words, but she forced herself to stay calm. "It's nice to see you again, Eunwoo," she said, turning to him. "I didn't expect to run into you here."

Eunwoo shrugged, still smiling. "Well, the world is smaller than we think, isn't it? I've known Mr. Jeon for quite some time. We've done business together, and I sometimes stop by to visit when I'm in town."

Y/N nodded, though her mind was still racing. So, Eunwoo knew Jungkook's family? It was an odd coincidence, but she couldn't afford to dwell on it now. She had come here with a purpose.
