Y/N woke up with a newfound energy, her mind clearer than it had been in weeks. After the emotional breakdown in the shower the night before, she had come to a decision-if Jungkook wanted to play games, she would play them better. She wouldn't let him see her pain anymore. She wouldn't let him think he had the upper hand.
She dressed carefully, slipping into one of her new signature looks-a high-slit skirt that hugged her figure, paired with a crisp white blouse tucked in neatly, and red bottom high heels that clicked sharply against the floor as she walked. Her hair was styled to perfection, her makeup subtle but striking. She looked every bit the powerful woman she knew she could be.
As she descended the stairs, she caught sight of Jungkook, dressed in his usual tailored suit, ready to head out for the day. She smirked, twirling his car keys casually around her finger.
"Going to work already?" Y/N greeted him, her tone light and breezy as if last night's tension had never existed.
Jungkook's eyes widened in surprise as he looked her up and down. "Y/N... you're up early today," he said, his shock evident. His eyes traveled over her figure, clearly not expecting to see her looking so put together, especially after how distant and cold she had been the past few days.
Y/N's smile widened, bright and flawless, masking the storm brewing inside her. She could see the confusion in his expression, but she wasn't going to give him any answers. Not yet. "I felt like a change," she said simply, walking toward him with an air of confidence. She tossed the car keys in his direction, which he barely caught, still staring at her as if trying to figure out what was going on.
"I'm coming with you to the office, starting today," she continued casually, as though it were the most natural thing in the world.
Jungkook blinked, caught off guard. "What? Why?" he asked, his voice betraying his unease. "I mean, you've never come to the office before. Why now?"
Y/N stepped closer to him, her heels clicking with each step as she closed the distance between them. She tilted her head, looking up at him with that same bright, unreadable smile. "I figured it's about time I get more involved in your world. After all, we are married, right?" Her tone was sweet, almost too sweet, but there was a sharpness in her eyes that Jungkook couldn't quite ignore.
"You don't have to-" he started, but Y/N cut him off smoothly.
"Oh, but I want to," she said, her voice firm but still laced with that same charming, innocent tone. "I've been neglecting my duties as your wife, haven't I? Maybe it's time I support you more, get to know your work, your colleagues..." She paused, her eyes narrowing just a fraction. "Especially the people you spend so much time with."
Jungkook's jaw tightened, and she saw the flicker of realization cross his face. He understood what she was implying, but he couldn't say anything without admitting too much. "Y/N, I don't think it's necessary-"
"I think it is," she interrupted again, this time more firmly. "I'll be coming with you from now on. Consider it a way for us to... reconnect." Her smile never wavered, but the underlying message was clear.
Jungkook stared at her for a long moment, clearly unsure of how to respond. He was used to controlling the narrative, but this was different. Y/N wasn't the naive, doting wife she had once been. She was stepping into his territory now, and he didn't like it.
Finally, he sighed, nodding slightly. "Fine. If that's what you want."
"Oh, it is," Y/N said, her eyes gleaming as she turned on her heel and headed for the door. "Let's go, honey. We don't want to be late."
Jungkook followed behind her, still trying to process the shift in her demeanor. But Y/N didn't care. She had the upper hand now, and she was going to make sure he knew it. This was just the beginning.

Jungkook sat in his chair, shifting uncomfortably as he tried to focus on the paperwork in front of him. But no matter how hard he tried, his eyes kept drifting to Y/N, who was seated gracefully on the sofa across the room, flipping through a Vogue magazine. She hadn't said much since they arrived at his office, but her presence was making it impossible for him to concentrate.
It wasn't just the silence that was bothering him-it was her. The way she carried herself, the way her skirt rode up when she crossed her legs, exposing just enough skin to make his heart race. His gaze lingered on her, taking in every detail, from the way her blouse clung to her body to the subtle rise of her chest with each breath. He couldn't ignore how radiant she looked lately, her skin glowing, her breasts fuller than before. It was as if she had
transformed overnight, and it was driving him crazy.Y/N, seemingly oblivious to his attention, casually unbuttoned the top of her blouse, claiming, "It's hot in here." Her tone was innocent, but Jungkook could feel the heat rising in the room, even though the temperature was perfectly fine.
Jungkook cleared his throat, trying to compose himself. "Y/N, is there something you're trying to tell me?" he asked, his voice low, unable to keep the tension out.
Y/N didn't look up from her magazine, her fingers lazily flipping the page. "What do you mean, Jungkook?" she replied, her voice light and unconcerned. "I'm just here to support you, like 1 said."
His jaw tightened as his eyes continued to roam over her, unable to tear his gaze away. "You've never dressed like this before... especially not for the office."
She finally glanced up at him, raising an eyebrow as she smiled sweetly. "What? You don't like it?" She shifted in her seat, making her skirt ride up even further, the slit barely covering her leg now.
Jungkook felt his pulse quicken. "It's not that. You just--" he hesitated searching for the right words, "you've been acting differently lately
Y/N tilted her head, her smile never fading. "Differently? How so?"
He let out a breath, leaning back in his chair, eyes dark as they remained fixed on her. "You're being... seductive."
She chuckled softly at his choice of words, finally putting down the magazine and meeting his gaze head-on. "Oh? Am I?" She uncrossed and then recrossed her legs, this time more deliberately, watching the way his eyes followed the movement.
Jungkook's throat went dry as he watched her. "What's gotten into you, Y/N?" he asked, his voice rougher now.
Y/N leaned back into the sofa, her hand trailing lazily along her exposed thigh. "Maybe I'm just tired of being the same old Y/N," she said with a playful edge to her voice. "Maybe I've decided to start embracing who I really am."
Jungkook raised an eyebrow, trying to figure out where this was coming from. He wasn't used to her being this bold, this confident. It was unnerving, but it was also.. intoxicating.
"Are you trying to prove something to me?" he asked, leaning forward slightly, his eyes narrowing as they locked onto hers.
Y/N's smile widened, and she stood up, slowly walking towards his desk with deliberate, graceful steps "Maybe I am," she said softly, stopping just inches away from him. "Or maybe I'm just enjoying watching you squirm."
Jungkook's breath hitched as she leaned over his desk, her blouse hanging open just enough for him to catch a glimpse of her cleavage. "Y/ N," he growled, his voice a mix of frustration and desire, "you're playing with fire."
She leaned closer, her lips just a breath away from his ear. "Maybe I am," she whispered, her voice like silk, "but I'm not the one who's going to get burned."
With that, she straightened up and turned on her heel, walking back to the sofa and picking up her magazine again, leaving Jungkook speechless and very, very unsettled. He couldn't take his eyes off her, and for the first time in a long time, he felt like he was the one being toyed with.
