"In another time, in another life, I don't want you to give up your lifetime work again just to be with me, Aer. This is my prayer and declaration..."

Aer looked shocked.

His expression indicates that he wants me to take my words back. Thoughts alone are already powerful here in the Middle, what more words are, whether written or spoken.

It is even more powerful now that we have vowed to a sacred union. Now that we have vowed as soulmates united, reunited as one. Our souls are now connected for eternity.

He finally sighed, resigned.

"Yre, we are soulmates so we should be together, whenever and wherever. Our next lifetimes will be a lot different from now on for sure. But for now..."

He smiled.

As much as I wanted to stare at him as this might be one of our last moments together here in this lifetime, I settled blinking. I should act normal, that this is just another day!

"Let's have a date, Yre! I miss Earth! I can't wait to spend my lifetimes there with you!"

I grinned.

And so do I, my soulmate.

So do I, Aer...
