"Gyuvin-ah, are you free today after school? Do you want to study together?" Siyoung decided to take a more proactive approach after realising Gyuvin would not take the initiative soon. It was fine if he didn't like her yet. They had barely spent any time alone. She only had to create more opportunities for them to spend time together. Eventually, he'll develop feelings for her, too.

At least that was what she hoped for.

"Sorry, Siyoung, I'm not free today."

"You don't have soccer team practice, nor do you have to go to the academy. What is it that you have to do?"

"Erm..." Gyuvin quickly searched in his mind for a convincing excuse. "I have to go run errands for my mum."

"I can come with you."

"I think better not." He turned her down but didn't want to sound too blunt. "How about this Friday after school? We can ask the others to join, too."

"Sure." But her intuition was telling her that Gyuvin was lying. His whereabouts after school had always been a mystery, to the point where even Seungeon and Yujin had no idea. Why did he need to be so secretive about whatever he had been doing?

She tightened her fist with her nails dug deep into her palm. At this moment, questions without answers only intensified her insecurity and paranoia.

Siyoung dashed out of her classroom once school was over. Within minutes, Siwon saw her walking out of the school building through the classroom window. But instead of walking towards the school gate, Siyoung walked towards one of the tall bushes near the gate, peeking from behind the bush at what seemed like the entrance of the school building. Siwon furrowed her brows at her sister's suspicious behaviour, trying to figure out what she was doing.

For a good while, Siyoung remained in the same position and watched as people passed by. Siwon was starting to get uninterested when she saw Siyoung hide herself behind the bush completely. Siwon automatically looked to the entrance of the school building and instantly spotted Gyuvin thanks to his outstanding height. Siwon continued to observe Siyoung, who started peeking again. Once Gyuvin had passed by the bush, Siyoung furtively came out from behind the bush and went out of the school while maintaining a distance from Gyuvin in front of her.

Siwon did not expect her sister to be crazy enough to be stalking Gyuvin! Was she really that obsessed with him?

She hurriedly left the classroom and called Gyuvin.

"I'm at the bus stop now." Gyuvin thought Siwon called to check on him.

"Ya, don't go to the bookshop today."

"Why? Are you not working today?"

"Just don't."

"I won't listen to you if you don't give me a valid reason."

"I don't want to see you today," Siwon said whatever excuse came to mind.

"That's not valid. I don't care if you want to see me. I want to see you."

That was sweet, but it wasn't time for a heart-fluttering moment.

"I didn't mean it that way." She took her words back.

"I know you didn't."

"But really, not today."

"What happened?"

Siwon stayed quiet, not sure if she should tell Gyuvin what was going on.

"The bus is here. I'm getting on if you won't tell me what's going on." It was Gyuvin's ultimatum.
