Yurim was still fighting against her unwanted desires when the doorbell rang, echoing through the entire apartment. Definitely his friends had come. She put the bottles back in their place before leaving the kitchen and walking to the living room.
Jimin had already welcomed them as they talked. She stood a little far, but soon enough a muscular man came up to her and hugged her tightly, swinging her body a bit.
"Nice to see you, Yuri."
"You too kook." She said, as he broke the hug and gave a smile.
"So you two made up?" Seokjin asked with a chuckle as he walked in more to the couch. "I almost thought my brother would have a heartbreak."
"Hyung, we weren't a couple though to break up." Jimin explained, coming to Yurim and standing before her. "She was just angry on me as a friend."
She gazed at Jimin as she couldn't help but rethink--- Where the hell were your thoughts when you kissed your friend?
"Oh, c'mon hyung." Namjoon snickered, "We can wait until they make it official."
"You guys can think whatever you want to." Jimin sighed repeatedly. "Jungkook, come with me; let's bring the drinks." He asked the younger to follow him up to the kitchen, which Kookie did actively.
While they brought the drinks, Yurim went to sit with Jimin's hyungs on the couch.
"When did you come, today or last night?" Yoongi asked, with a mischievous grin on his lips as he stared at the nervous girl.
"Today, he brought me here one hour ago." She explained with an awkward smile.
"Oh, did you know where he was last night? He didn't pick up my calls." Namjoon asked, looking so serious, but that little playful smirk across his lips was telling what he intended to mean.
Last night.
Again.
She went back to the moment. Last night. The kiss. His lips..
"Do you know?" Hoseok repeated.
"Huh?" She blinked, "No, I don't."
"Why are you guys trying to make her awkward?" Jimin's whiny voice came following him in person. He placed the bottles of drinks on the table. Yurim took a look at him to understand if he heard about the previous conversation, but he did not say anything related to last night; may be he just came here.
"Well, we're just trying to know the truth."
"We are friends; that's the truth." He stated, walking over the couch and sitting beside his girl friend.
"I doubt." Seokjin expressed, raising his brow with a wicked smile.
"Stay with your doubts, Hyung." He muttered, rolling his eyes.
The doorbell rang again.
"May be Taehyung." Hoseok muttered, as all of their eyes turned to the main gate.
Jimin stood up from his place as he shook his head. "No, he isn't. He knows the passcode; he will just berge in." He said, walking to the door.
Their eyes were still at the entrance to see the unexpected guest.
"Happy Birthday, Jimin."
The well-known, cheerful and loud voice of Kang Nabi rang through the place. The girl entered and immediately hugged Jimin, wishing him a happy birthday.
She broke the hug and smiled, "I hope I'm not too late."
"Miss Kang, were you even invited?" Namjoon mocked, with a chuckle, as he stared at the girl, wearing a pair of white skirts above her knees and a maroon-colored off-shoulder, full-sleeve top tugged in. Her hairs falling on her shoulders covered her exposed skin to some extent. Even though she was wearing makeup, it looked so natural.
