Her mood was happy as she stirred the soup in the induction oven. She suddenly urged to prepare Jimin's favorite dishes for his birthday. Even though she was not so girly, thankfully she was quite good at cooking, and Jimin never complained before, so she got the confidence to cook something for him while he was still asleep.
Currently it was 12:20 pm on a beautiful day. Yurim knew Jimin wouldn't be waking up until lunch, so she had a light breakfast and started preparing the meal for lunch.
Till last night, she felt her heart was being heavy for some reason, and this morning she discovered it was because she was angry at her dear best friend and hadn't talked with him for days. Forgiving him really gave her peace.
After that day in the restaurant, she called her boyfriend multiple times, but he did not pick up at first, and this made her get angry at Jimin since he was the reason, but after two days, her boyfriend called on his own and apologized for being so rude and overreacting. Once her relationship was good, she realized she did not really have to be angry on Jimin; after all, he was only being cautious like his usual self since childhood.
She was immersed in her thoughts so much that she did not feel the presence of someone behind her until a pair of arms wrapped around her waist. She flinched a bit but then realized it was only Jimin, which made her smile softly.
Jimin set his chin on her shoulder and tilted his head to see her face.
"Baby, are you still going to be angry at me?" He asked; his voice was raspy and deep. His morning breaths, along with the alcohol, were still lingering in his breaths, which made her feel something in her stomach, and she was afraid to name them as butterflies.
"I'm sorry.." He mumbled, nudging his nose in her neck and planting a kiss on her soft skin. This made her shiver as her hand loosen the grip around the spoon she was gripping, and it sank into the soup.
"Jimin.." She said, gathering courage as her body became stiff, feeling him so close. This had never happened to her before when he had called her baby or hugged her like this, not even when he had kissed her cheeks and neck.
"What?" He murmured, tightening his arms around her, totally unaware that his touches were making her go crazy for some reasons.
She wiggled away from his grip trying too hard and turned around. She was about to say something when her eyes fell on his bare chest. He still had the shirt from last night on him, but the buttons were still unbuttoned, exposing him so much.
"What.. Yuri?" He inquired as he grabbed the kitchen counter on both of her sides, practically caging her in between. He looked unbothered and stared at her.
Her eyes snapped up to his face, but that was another distraction. His pink lips were on display, making her remember the last night. She gulped as her throat felt dry, gazing at his lips. How the pair of lips had her ones captured. How he had kissed her lips, necks, and shoulders.
"Choi Yurim."
She flinched, coming back to reality hearing her full name in his voice. She looked at him and said, "Yes?"
He looked concerned as he brought his left knuckles to caress her cheek. "Are you alright, Yuri?"
"Yeah.." She shuddered, nodding her head, avoiding looking at his lips. "Go, take a shower, and get ready; lunch is prepared."
He smiled, giving a nod as he pulled himself back and stood straight. "Anyway, I didn't bother you last night. I hope."
"No.. not at all." Yurim lied, smiling awkwardly as she continuously shook her head. He did not remember any of the last-night events, and it was good for her, less embarrassing. "You were just fine."
