It was about only two days for Tuesday to come, but it felt like two weeks to Yurim since she was excited to see her boyfriend after a long time.
The excitement made her request for a half-day leave in her office. She did not want to take the leave since she was still new to the company, but she had to sacrifice that for her boyfriend.
Yurim went to the practice room of BTS, but they weren't there, and she got to know that they were recording something in the studio. She wanted to say that she would go to see her boyfriend but jimin was not there, and she had no intent to disturb them in the recording room.
The restaurant her boyfriend had sent the location happened to be so close to her office that she did not even need to take a cab or bus. She had time before her boyfriend would be there, so she walked to the place.
She checked the location once again before entering the restaurant. She was surprised for a moment, seeing the restaurant was quite expensive.Yurim was not sure if he had already reached or not, so she called her boyfriend, and surprisingly, he picked up in one ring; that even amused her since he never picked up her calls on time.
"I'm here--"
"Yes, babe, come in."
"Okay." She replied with a soft smile on her lips, before she stepped in the restaurant.
Her eyes roamed around the place in search of the familiar person in the unfamiliar place.
"Hi babe."
The familiar voice of her boyfriend made her head snap in the direction as she found her boyfriend waiting for her, sitting around a table at the end.
He waved at her and then stood up when she approached him. He came near her, kissing her cheek for a brief moment before placing his hand on her lower back, pushing her to sit on the chair, then walked around and took a seat opposite to hers.
"What do you want to have, babe?" Her boyfriend asked once they were settled in front of each other.
"Anything you like, Sung hoon." Yurim replied with a smile.
Sung hoon called for a waiter and ordered some dishes he loved.
"Oh, babe, just take the jacket off, aren't you hot in here? Also, its just me, no need to be shy."Yurim awkwardly smiled, "Yeah."
She gazed down at her jacket, before sliding it off her arms and shoving it in her bag.
"How's work anyway?" He asked, changing the topic.
She glanced up at him for a second before looking down again, with a forced smile, "Good."
"Isn't it supposed to be great, baby?"
Yurim was surprised hearing the very familiar voice calling her baby in front of her boyfriend. She lifted up her head to see the obvious person. Her eyes widen at the sight, but before she could say anything, a gasp left her mouth as she was pushed away from her place, and the person sat beside her with his arms around her shoulder.
"Jimin?" She wondered, shock and surprise drawn across her face.
"We are also here, Yurim."
Yurim's eyes went to the opposite side, hearing another familiar voice, and her jaw dropped seeing Taehyung and Jungkook taking a seat on both sides of her boyfriend, who was just taken aback by the whole matter.
"What are you guys doing here?" Her boyfriend asked, his voice irritated as he gazed at the three guys who just appeared out of nowhere.
"To eat." Jungkook answered with a honeyed voice, his eyes glaring at the man beside him.
"Babe." Sung hoon called.
Yurim immediately jerked Jimin's arm from her shoulders as she offered her boyfriend an awkward smile. "Yes?"
"Did you invite them to come?" He asked, with an annoyed sigh.
"No--"
"Well, we're her friends, and I think you should be friends with us as well." Taehyung suggested, as he extended his hand for a handshake.
Sung hoon gazed at his hand, then at his eyes suspiciously. Taehyung indicated at his hand for a handshake, and he did so. But before he could take away his hand, Taehyung's grip tightened around him as he winced.
"Opps, sorry." Taehyung apologized with a mischievous smile as he let go of his hand.
In the meantime, Jungkook had ordered food for themselves as well since the previous order was only for two people.
Yurim looked at her best friend and said, "Jimin, may I ask why you are here?" The sternness in her voice was real but unexpected.
Jimin leaned back to his seat, as he just stared at her without saying anything. He turned his gaze to her boyfriend and passed a sweet smile. "Let's just focus on the food, should we?"
"Yeah." The short answer represented his irritation, but the trio cared less.
Taehyung kept on questioning Yurim's boyfriend and so much personal and professional stuff that, at a moment, he was struggling, and Jungkook pointing out how he looked so fragile and weak was just another insult. But the duo managed to sound it frank when those were a clear insult.
Yurim was not irritated but angry as she glared at the guy beside her, "Jimin, how did you?"
"Shhhhh." Jimin placed his index finger on her lips, shutting her mouth as he pointed at the food with his eye motion. "Focus on the food."
She yanked his hand away from her lips as she opened her mouth to say, but he cut her off in the middle.
She closed her eyes, taking breaths to cope with him not wanting to make a scene here. She was huffing in anger when she noticed Jimin taking off his own jacket. Within a moment, he was turned to her as he slided his jacket through her arms, making her wear the jacket.
With the jacket on, she felt free to sit there. She opened her mouth to say something but he pointed at the food.
Yurim averted her eyes at food, scooting away from Jimin. Even though Jimin tried his best to invade her privacy, she tried to manage it in front of her boyfriend. Indeed, no boyfriend would like to see this.
"Babe, can we meet some other day?" Sung hoon asked as he placed his hand on hers, which was on the table.
Jimin's eyes snapped at their hands as he scoffed internally.
"I'll let you know." Yurim shortly replied. She was not in the mood of discussing another date with her boyfriend in front of Jimin and letting him ruin that date as well.
She did not initiate the conversation further as she continued to eat the food. She was furious with Jimin for his presence at the date. Her boyfriend was clearly not liking it, and she could not risk her relationship because of her stupid best friend, who loved to interfere in her privacy.
Once they were done with the lunch with so much chaos, they left the restaurant and came to the parking area of the restaurant.
"Should I drop you?"
"No need; she's going to the office with us." Jimin informed Sung hoon as he held Yurim's hand and tugged her close to himself.
"Babe." Her boyfriend sighed, "Well, I'll call you later; pick it up if you are free from your best friend."
Yurim wanted to say something to him that this was nothing like that, but he entered his car. She was about to walk to his car when Jimin pulled her to walk to his car.
"Jimin, leave my hand." Yurim ordered, looking so angry and pissed off.
He stopped and looked back at her, still holding her hand. "What's making you so angry?" He asked, jerking his chin.
"YOU!" She yelled.
"Let's not fight in the public place; get in the car." He said, opening the front passenger's seat for her. He motioned for her to go in, but she rolled her eyes, looking away. "Listen, I don't want to shout at you now, so just get in." He calmly said.
She glared at him for a second before getting in the car as he shut the door before he walked around to the driver's seat.
