Around midnight,  everybody left Jimin's apartment, aiming for their respective ones. The living room was still messed up, with bottles of beers on the table, plates and bowls of food, and all.

"Jimin, come help me clean this place." Yurim shouted, looking over her shoulder at her best friend, who was on his way to his room. She was crouched down before the coffee table and stuffed the paper cups in the plastic bag.

He stopped on his track, facing her. "I can't do anything. Just let it be like that if you can't do it alone; I'll call house helper later for cleaning. Now, I'm going to sleep; don't bother me!"

He said his words and went in his room, disregarding her. She sighed as she heard the door of his room shutting. She was a little tired, but she did not want to see the mess in the early morning when she would wake up next day. So, she cleaned the place and even the kitchen as well.

Once she was done with the cleaning, she walked up to Jimin's door. She gently pushed it, knowing it wouldn't be locked. She found him sleeping peacefully, laying on his stomach, his arms spread over the bed.

Ignoring him, she entered fully before going to the small bag she had brought on her way to his apartment, containing some of her clothes. She grabbed a pair of simple trousers with a gray t-shirt before heading to the washroom.

She took a shower really quick and got changed. As she stepped in the room, her eyes fell on the blanket that was now on the floor beside the bed while Jimin was snoring a little.

Yurim hissed silently before nearing the bed and picking the blanket from the floor. She spread it over his body and tugged it till his chest. She could hear his breathing from the distance her face was from his now. For a moment, she admired the features of his—the eyelashes, the delicate skin, the soft lips—suddenly she snapped out of her thoughts as she pulled herself away, standing two feet far from the bed.

She was not supposed to describe his lips as soft. She was his best friend, and that compliment
created a doubt in their bond. Her heart pounded heavily as she recalled the memory of last night. The kiss was soft and passionate.

Yurim slapped the back of her head as she shook the thoughts away.

He is your best friend! Forget that shit! She scolded herself.

Her eyes averted to him again, but she turned around since each time his lips were on display, she could not help but go back to the moment. She hated to admit that the kiss was enjoyable.

She looked over her shoulder for a brief moment before looking back at the dark, shaded wall. "Go to some other room, Yuri; you can't sleep beside him tonight."

A shaky sigh left her mouth as she advised herself to go to another room and sleep there. It would be the worst idea to lay beside him with so many sensual memories in her mind. As her mind decided, her legs took the action. She paced to the door, opening it and immediately exiting his room.

She felt like she could breathe now normally. It was so much tension inside the room. She gulped a bit as she calmed herself before she made her way to some other room.

"Let's go, have some snacks."

Jimin's proposal did not fascinate Yurim, as she kept her eyes on the laptop screen. Her best friend standing behind her chair, whining about going for a snack break since the past ten minutes was nothing but a distraction to her task. She was already having a hard time to work due to the mild headache from sleeping late last night and waking up super early to come to the office, and now Jimin was just an addition ache.
