Appearance
Otoya is a tall young man with lean yet muscular built, having short silverish white, and blue eyes.
Personality
Otoya is a calm and cold person, usually not like to talk much and prefer to being alone. He doesn't like to be bothered, and mostly distant toward those who he deemed annoying. He is quite straightforward about what he thought and can speak it bluntly.
However, he is not without emotion. When it come to emotion, he tend to hide them until he was pressured to the point he doesn't mind showing it. Otoya is a realist, so he can accept a situation as it is and prepared to deal with it accordingly.
Unlike with most people, Otoya is fine and friendly with Kibaou Ren, a student he known since middle school. While he have cold demeanor, Otoya is more friendly with Ren, usually hangout with him.
After making contract with Goldphoenix, Otoya still retain his normal personality. He have a close relation and mutual understanding with Goldphoenix, allowing them to work together well.
History
Otoya came from a rich family, as his has been a successful businessman generation. He does not have any particular interest in anything. He only view things in realistic ways, making him much more understanding toward reality.
At some point during middle school, Otoya wanted to try a "normal" school for once. He ended up getting attention he didn't really want because he's a rich kid. Eventually, he meet with a boy named Kibaou Ren, someone who didn't really view him as a rich person but as who he is.
Thinking him just noise at first, Otoya eventually become friends with Ren. When they just become third year students in high school, a portal suddenly appear below them which teleport them into the magic world of Tortus.
After spending two weeks training, the Hero's Party went to the Great Orcus Labyrinth in order to gain experience in combat. However, things turn bad when Daisuke activate a trap which sent them directly to 65th Floor. During the fight with the Behemoth, Otoya and Ren fell into the deeper section of the labyrinth.
Power & Abilities
While unknown what Otoya's real skill is as a normal human, he is very intelligent and strategic, added he usually calm which allow him to think things proper few steps ahead. He act as the playmaker in the soccer team he part of, and an excellent a midfielder.
Once summoned into the world of Tortus, Otoya have an immense level of mana and gain the job class of hero. Along side with another hero, he is one of the two strongest one in their group.
After making contract with Goldphoenix and eat monster meat, Otoya had become even stronger, surpass far the stats even his fellow classmates within the Hero's Party. Because making the contract, Otoya is cease to be a human and slowly turning into a phoenix.
