Geraskier one shots

This is off of the song outlaw life by Kyle stibbs. 

Jaskier sings a song geralt has never heard before.

At first geralt didn't even want to go into the town but jaskier being the clever annoying bard he is made a good point.

"We need coin. Plus a good meal couldn't hurt. We can just get some food and I'll sing" jaskier says and geralt grumbles

He knows the bard is right. They did need coin and a good meal wouldn't hurt.

Geralt silently turns roach towards the town. Jaskier lights up and picks up the pace making geralt roll his eyes

The town wasn't a bad place. The people weren't mean to geralt and even offered to let them stay in one of the inns. 

They had work for him of course. No town wanted to deal with a Witcher unless they wanted a monster killed.

A beast in the lake, it had been killing the fishermen and anyone unfortunate enough to cross the lake.

Geralt wasn't interest but jaskier gave him those big blue eyes and charming smile.

"We need the coin" jaskier says and geralt sighs nodding. 

Geralt knew the lake was too big for the bard to come with. He couldn't keep jaksier safe with that much space.

"You stay at the inn" geralt says and jaskier rolls his eyes.

"Why? I won't get in the way let me come" jaskier tried but geralt shakes his head.

"Too much space." Geralt says and jaskier huffs crossing his arms

"You can work on some new piece while I'm gone" geralt says trying to cheer him up

Geralt didn't like when the bard was upset. Jaskier did thankfully smile at that.

"Yes. Then once your back we can go to the tavern" jaskier says happily wanting to earn some coin himself

With that geralt was off. The lake was big enough geralt knew be would gone all day.

The moment geralt is out of the room jaskier is humming a new song. He had been secretly working on it for a while and it was almost done.

They had met geralts suprise child. She was sweet and jaskier felt for the child. After they took her somewhere safe to train jaskier began to make a song.

It was different then any he had made before. Usually his songs are for the audience but this one was for specific people.

This was for geralt. That made it special and jaskier took his time making it perfect.

Geralt was able to lure it out and it wasn't very tough. It only took geralt a few hours to kill it.

Even though it was small it still put up a decent fight. Geralt went back towards the inn knowing jaskier would be waiting.

He was back at the inn by sun down. When he enters the room jaskier stops playing.

Geralt hadn't been paying attention to it. He walks to his bed and sits down.

Jaskier is off of his own bed gently putting his lute down and grabing things to clean any wounds that geralt had

"So how did it go?" Jaskier said as he starts cleaning the wounds.

Thankfully they are small and will heal quickly. Geralt only grunts and jaskier rolls his eyes

"How will I ever sing your praise if you never tell me the details?" Jaskier asks as he finished wrapping the wounds.
