"Abhi abhi toh aayi thi, doh din huye nahi ki phirse jaaney ki taiyaari ho rahi hain. Aur iss baar toh teeno jaa rahe ho. Ghar khaali ho jayega poora,"Rohini said while helping the sisters pack their luggage.
"Arey Rohini ji, ekdin na ekdin toh permanently aisa hona hain. Abb toh phirbi holidays pe ghar aayenge yeh log. Shaadi ho jaayegi toh kaha aah paayenge jab marzi tab?"Sarabjeet said.
"Exactly! Isiliye itna socho matt Beeji,"Reeva said.
"Main toh shaadi hi naa karungi,"Sejal said and sat near her mother, hugging her.
"Wah re wah! Yeh badhiya idea hain,"Sarabjeet said and laughed.
"Vaisey yeh line toh Jheel ki honi chahiye thi. Kiyuki ladkon waley karnamey toh iski hoti hain aksar. But shayad usney already kisi ko pasand karliya hain. Hain na Jheel?"Reeva said.
"Kya bol rahi hain tu Jijiya? Dimag satak gayi hain kya teri?"Jheelam asked, turning serious.
Sejal chuckled and said,"Papaji, aapko Shaurya Bhaiya kaise lagte hain?"
"Changa ladka hain. Kiyu?"
"Nahi, Jiji ke saath jodi acchi lagegi unki. Nai?"Sejal asked, and Jheelam chased her at once while saying,"abbey oye! Ruk teri toh khopdi nikaal ke maracas banaungi main."
"Ek mehenga hairpin gift kiya hain Shaurya ne Jheel ko,"Reeva said while showing the hairpin to their parents.
Rohina took the pin and looked at Sarabjeet, who said,"that's great. Agar dono ke beech kuch accha chal raha hain toh burai kya hain ismey?"
"Sachmein Papaji? Yahi kaam maine kiya hota toh..."
"Aisa kya kaam kiya hain Jheel ne, Reeva?"Rohini asked and added,"aur kisidin agar tu sachmein Jheel jaisey kaam karegi na toh main bhagwan ko sau kilo laddu charha dungi. Sejal ko dekh! Uskey saath rehe rehekar kitni samajhdar aur kaabil bann rahi hain. Aur ek tu hain. Na kuch accha seekhna hain, na sochna hain."
"Aap dono na yahi karo. Kabhi kabar toh aisa lagta hain ki main adopted hoon aur voh dono aapki sagi betiyan hain. Huh!"Reeva said while walking away.
"Reeva!"Rohini called and Sarabjeet said,"rehene doh. Voh aisi hi hain. Gussa thanda ho jayega toh khud chali aayegi."
"Jiji, Jiji! Sorry sorry sorry,"Sejal said while Jheelam held her.
Leaving her she leaned against the railing of the terrace while Sejal came beside her saying,"sach sach bata. Shaurya Bhaiya pasand nahi hain tujhe?"
"Pasand toh hain,"Jheelam said and then added as Sejal smirked,"par pasand aur pyaar mein difference hain Seju. Aur mereko filhaal IPS banna hain. Pyaar wyaar ki chakkar mein parhna Jijiya ka kaam hain. Jheel ki nahi."
