Before anyone knew it, the work day was over.

"All right, everybody. All doors must be returned. No exceptions." Obi-Wan shouted.

And everyone got to sending their final doors away. Now they only had two final things to do: file the scare reports and clock out.

Anakin was pumped up but also tuckered out after a long day of scaring. Carmine wrote down the final pieces of info on the paperwork and was ready to get out for the day.

"Great work today, Anakin. I've never seen anything like you today. You were on a roll." Carmine said.

"Another day like this and that scare record's in the bag." Anakin smiled.

"You've got this, Anakin." Carmine said, checking in his bag to make sure the ring was still safe. "And you've got a lovely lady waiting for you."

Of course, the fact that Carmine was holding a ring didn't go unnoticed. As the twins were walking out, Obi-Wan noticed it.

"Getting married, Carmine?" Obi-Wan smiled.

"I hope so," said Carmine. "Don't tell Caroline, but I'm gonna pop the question tonight."

"Best wishes to both of you, in that case."

"Thanks, buddy."

The scare floor was lights out for the night, and all scarers and assistants were headed out. Except, Carmine was so excited about his upcoming proposal that he didn't realize he'd left something important behind.

"As if dinner weren't enough, I'm taking her ice skating afterwards." Carmine said.

"Sounds romantic." Anakin said.

"What's on your agenda?"

"I'm going to a cake tasting with Padme." Anakin said. "And then we're having a romantic night at the apartment, just her and me."

"You gonna try to get more of it in your mouth this time?"

"Pfft! I'm not that messy an eater."

Carmine raised a brow and crossed his arms.

"Really?"

Flashback to moments Anakin ate dessert...

The twins' fifth birthday party, Anakin got cake frosting all over his face.

The twins' eighth grade graduation dinner, Anakin splattered chocolate pudding all over his suit.

Last Life Day, Anakin tried to sneak a lick of the bowl while he was helping his mother bake pies, only for the entire bowl to fall on his head.

Present Day...

"Need I go on? You don't wanna get messy on your wedding day."

"I'm gonna be fine.

Carmine caught a whiff under his arm and found he started to smell like dead algae. He couldn't go on his date smelling like that.

"Can I borrow some deodorant?" Carmine asked.

"Sure. Got ocean breeze or cherry blossom."

"You got lily of the valley?"

"Nope."

"How about rose garden?"

"Yup. Knock yourself out." Anakin said, tossing the can to his brother.
