'It's been 2 weeks and this boy has yet to talk to me, is he shy?'

A little girl thought, lying on her bed while facing the balcony. It's 5:32 am, which is quite early for an 8-year-old like her to be awake but she's gotten used to it. On the other side, is the room of her new neighbor's son who moved in two weeks ago. The couple has two children, one older daughter, and a younger brother the same age as her.

However, since the first dinner the two families shared, the boy never approached her. Even when they became classmates and he sat in front of her, he didn't greet her like his other friends. But then again, his friends are all boys.

'Maybe he is shy with girls. But he has a sister.' The girl ended her thoughts before pulling her bunny plushie and hugging it. She woke up two hours earlier than the supposed time she usually goes to school so she decided to be lazy until the next hour.

It wasn't long before she heard some rustling from the next-door's room and sat up.

'Is he awake? This early?' She peeked through the curtain, and she saw a boy figure packing his bag before the lights were turned off.

She stared at the room for a minute before finally getting up from her bed and decided to go after him. Looks like she's going to school very early today.

(Y/n) continues to trail after the charcoal blue-haired kid, curious as to where will his steps lead him. She already left the note in the refrigerator for her mom stating she was walking to school early. At times like this, she is proud that she has stealthily steps. If not, then this boy is quite oblivious to his surroundings.

They finally arrived at school and the boy steadily walked towards the school field. The girl decided to take a detour and placed her bag under a tree nearby. It rained yesterday, so her vision was a bit limited due to the fog surrounding the field, but she could still see the boy placing his bag near the fence. At this point, she thinks that he'll notice her but decides not to question it.
