The Arrival of New Guardians: Mark 2 and Mark 3 Jaegers

In the wake of the devastating losses suffered by the Mark 2 Jaegers, the Philippine government accelerated its efforts to enhance the nation's defensive capabilities against the increasingly formidable Kaiju threat. The arrival of three new Mark 2 Jaegers—Habagat, Amihan, and Ifugao Spirit—alongside the first Mark 3 Jaeger, Wolfin' Attack, marked a significant turning point in the ongoing struggle for survival.

The Mark 2 Jaegers: Habagat, Amihan, and Ifugao Spirit

-Habagat-

Height: 78 meters

Role: Aerial Support and Tactical Assault

Description: Named after the southwest monsoon, Habagat was designed to excel in aerial engagements and rapid mobility. Equipped with jet propulsion systems, it could execute swift maneuvers and provide air support to ground forces. Habagat's shoulder-mounted missile launchers and energy beams allowed it to engage Kaiju from a distance while remaining mobile.

-Amihan-

Height: 76 meters

Role: Close-Quarter Combat Specialist

Description: Amihan, named after the northeast monsoon, was engineered for agility and speed. It featured retractable claws and dual energy whips, making it formidable in close-quarters combat. Amihan's agile frame and advanced targeting systems allowed it to evade attacks while delivering precise strikes.

-Ifugao Spirit-

Height: 80 meters

Role: Defensive and Support Jaeger

Description: Named in honor of the Ifugao people and their famed rice terraces, Ifugao Spirit was built for endurance and resilience. It boasted a reinforced armor shell and energy shields, making it a sturdy defender on the battlefield. Ifugao Spirit was designed to protect its allies, providing support in critical situations with its powerful energy cannon.

These new Jaegers quickly integrated into the Philippine Jaeger program, participating in training exercises and readiness drills to prepare for the inevitable encounters with Kaiju. Their design reflected lessons learned from the earlier Jaeger models, and they embodied the hope of a nation determined to stand against the encroaching darkness.

The Mark 3 Jaeger: Wolfin' Attack

With the dawn of the Mark 3 era, the Wolfin' Attack was introduced—a heavy assault Jaeger that would redefine the standards of combat. Standing at 75 meters tall, Wolfin' Attack was engineered for durability and firepower. Its massive fists were designed for brutal close-quarter combat, and it was equipped with a loud, deep horn intended to intimidate foes and alert allies.

Pilots: The Jaeger was first piloted by brothers Jake and Jason Fuentes, both seasoned pilots with a legacy of courage and skill. Their bond and synchronization as a team allowed them to operate Wolfin' Attack with remarkable efficiency.
