Melissa's POV

Being in Annie's class is not easy. She hates me. To be honest, I don't want her to hate me, she is a great girl. I love her as a person but to me? She acts like a total b. She doenst want to sit with me nor does she want to talk to me. I don't know why. I am not stealing her best friend, I am just his girlfiend. Speaking of her, Its been a few weeks since that incident.

Alex and I, well we are great. Alex no longer pushes me away and I'm grateful for that. I could tell you that meeting my parents has changed him. I feel so..

"Hey what is such a beautiful girl doing alone in the ground here?" Alex' voice broke my train of thoughts.

"I could ask you the same, What is such a handsome gentleman doing alone here?" I replied in the same flirtiaous tone.

This is what I was pointing to, this has become our thing now..

"I thought I saw my girlfriend, so I came here to talk to her. But now that I have found you-" He replied casually, with an innocent teasing tone and smile his face.

"Yeah, ditch your girlfriend, lets hang out" I replied with the same tone.

Alex laughed heartily.

"Damn Mel, honestly, you are looking really good today," He complimented me.

12th time in last few weeks yeah I was counting.

"Thanks Lexi baby~" I laughed along to hide the blush creeping behind my cheek.

"You look cute when you blush," He teased me.

"I'm not blushing, come out of your delusional world." I replied in a duh tone. MISERABLY FAILING I TELL YOU.

"Your eyes seem to differ." He replied with a smirk on his handsome face.

"Sure sure. Why are you here anyways?" I tried to chang the topic.

"Told you, to meet my beautiful girlfriend." He replied coolly.

"Smooth Mr.Alex, real smooth." I answered back.

"Jokes apart, What are you doing here? ARE YOU BUNKING MISS MEL?" He pretended to soung angry.

"My last period was free because my Spanish teacher was absent, so I came here." I explained. "And what about you? Mr.ALEX??"

"Well, I had a free period too," Alex said, sitting down next to me.

"And out of all the things you could be doing, you chose to spend it here with me? I feel special," I teased.

"Well, what can I say? You're more fun than the library." He did his cute grin, the one that made my stomach do little flips.

"Oh, so now you're my knight in shining armor, saving me from boredom?" I laughed.

"Hey, someone's gotta do it," he replied, winking. "Besides, you looked way too deep in thought. What were you thinking about?"

I hesitated, not really wanting to dive into my Annie worries just yet. "Oh, nothing important. Just, you know, school stuff."
