Aimee, still in tears, was absolutely frightened to death. Her hands were shaking, she was stone cold and desperately wanted to get out of there alive.

"Aim's it's OK. We can make it out alive..."

Footsteps were heard coming up the stairs.

"Shit. Sophie, let's hide."

Both the girls ran and hid into the tight wardrobe in the girls bedroom. Aimee shut the doors behind them. They watched from the gabs between the doors. The man walked past the bedroom the girls were in. He looked in the master bedroom first of all, then looked in the bathroom. The shower curtain was pulled across the bath. The man stopped and stared at it for a split second before ripping it off the rail. Staring into the empty bath, the man grunted in disappointment.

Aimee and Sophie both heard the shower curtain. They looked at each other shocked. The man then went back downstairs. He made his way out into the back yard once again.

"I think he's gone." Sophie insisted.

"You sure?"

"Yeah. Come on."

Sophie opened up the wardrobe and took a step out. Aimee followed after her. They both walked slowly out of the bedroom and into the corridor. The corridor was lit by the fire from outside. They both look out of the window and see the man stood there over the fire with a body. Both the girls walk down the stairs. The man hears the girls on the stairs and looks up at the house. He leaves the fire and walks into the house. The girls noticed and run back upstairs.

"I just want to talk to you, girls." the man yelled.

The girls hid in different places this time. Aimee hid in the same spot, in the wardrobe, and Sophie hid in the master bedroom.

"Come out girls!"

The man walked into the master bed room first of all. Sophie was under the bed. The man found her. Sophie screamed.

"Lets talk, Sophie!" the man said evilly.

"NO!" Sophie shouted back.

She ran out the other side of the bed and legged it.

"Aimee, help!"

Aimee didn't want to leave where she was. She was to afraid. As Sophie was running down the stairs, she tripped on something. The man laughed. He walked to her and stabbed her in the heart. He pulled the knife out and left her there.

"Lets go and find your friend shall we?" the man said.

Sophie, coughing, was shouting 'no' repeatedly. The man didn't listen. Aimee was still in her same spot crying silently. The man walked into the girls bedroom. Aimee covered her mouth with her hand to stop her from making any noise as she was watching the man. The man was looking around and at last he came to the wardrobe. He opened the door and there Aimee was. Stood there in tears. He stood there and stared at her.

"Where's Sophie? What have you done to her? Is she OK? Is she still alive? Can I see her?" Aimee asked so many questions.

"She's fine!" the man replied.

"So why are you not killing me like you have done with everyone else?"

"Because I want you to watch your friend suffer."

"Excuse me."

The man dragged Aimee out of the wardrobe by her arm. She flung onto the single bed.

"Stay there." the man made sure Aimee wouldn't leave.

The man walked down the stairs to where Sophie was. He picked her up and took her to Aimee. The man placed Sophie on the floor and her and Aimee were staring at each other whimpering. Sophie had tape around her mouth with her hands tide together with rope.
