The day after more invitations were sent out to more students, Tom had received his from his locker and as he picked it up he read it but at first he didn't want to go. He thought about it all day like a distraction. Tom is this intelligent guy who knows all about technology. The type of guy who loves to fix computers for fun and show you how to do stuff on your phone. The brainiac. He is this tall, skinny, brown haired boy who wears thick glasses and is quite muted in class. One to sit at the back and just shrug. Tom also spends a lot of time outside school studying and doing charity work.

When he got to science class he sat at the back and re-read the letter. As he read where it was being held nothing came to mind, just about what happened last year. Then some girls came up to Tom and started to laugh.

"Oh my god. Tom got an invitation to the school dance. I doubt he's gonna go to that. Haha, lame!" one girl snarled.

"He won't go. He's to smart for that" another said sarcastically.

Tom normally gets this kind of hate towards him daily ever since he was younger but brushes it off as if nothing has happened. He is so used to this hate he doesn't even question it anymore.

During science, the class had to choose a partner to work on a project they had been planning out. The project was to make a light bulb glow. Tom couldn't find a partner as everyone was already spoken for and no one was left. He was the odd one out. He worked on his own and his final grade on his work was an A. Top of the class. He amazes teachers with his top graded work, and for always being helpful.

As Noah opened up his locker, yet again the invitation fell through the air and onto the floor. Completely ignoring it, Noah was chatting up a girl as per usual. She pointed at this piece of paper and he picked it up and skimmed it. After he had read the invitation he put it back in his locker. Walking this girl to class, he saw Aimee and winked at her. Aimee was watching him as he walked past and gave a sort of smirk towards him.

Noah is a popular guy. Always chatting up the ladies, trying to pull them. I mean he knows loads of the girls like him. Most girls in the school have a crush on him. But he has an eye on one girl in particular. That's Aimee. She likes him back but doesn't show it like everyone else does. Noah is a 6ft tall brunette who has ocean blue eyes and a charming smile. He is on the football team and is very muscular. He is always hanging with his friends who are also on the football team. Noah has a bit of facial hair but not too much to make him look older and shabby. He is also one to post himself online and get thousands of likes.

After school had finished, Noah had gone back to his locker and took the invitation home with him. He showed his parents telling them the dance was still going ahead and that he is going no matter what. His parents are a bit possessive from last year.

"Mom, Dad I'm going to this dance whether you like it or not. Nothing is going to happen this year so forget about last year!" Noah wailed.

"Well just be careful please. Am I not allowed to worry about my boy?" asked his mom.

"I don't know just don't be too overprotective. Its annoying. I'm eighteen mom, not eight. I mean I don't even know what I'm wearing yet."

"Well have you got any ideas?" queried his dad.

"No. Not yet. I don't even know what the boys are wearing or even if they are going. No one has said a word about it yet."

"OK well just have a think about it. I'm sure something will come to mind sooner or later" his mom indicated.

Later that night Noah had a quick look online at costumes and found something he wouldn't mind wearing and thought he would look good in. The Scream costume, Ghostface. But a hot version.
