MARIYAH POV:

I removed the coat over me and throw it on bed while sighing.

It was exhausting. Standing over 4 hours for an surgery.
But, seeing the smile of their family members was worth it.

By now, alhamdulillah I'm an proud gynecologist.

I love my job. Serving the people, seeing them trusting you is all that I want.

After I took my hot bath, I slumped into bed, closing my eyes and relaxing the shoulders.

I felt an known presence over me just to see my husband. He hugged me tightly and snuggled into my neck and took all tiredness away.

"Tired, biwi?" He asked looking up at me just like a baby with so much concern

My heart skipped a bit.
"Not anymore, doctor ahad" I hugged him. Ahad's dimples deepened as he smiled, and I was lost in their charm.
How could something so simple bring me such joy and falling for him more and more?

I love him. Alot.

"Who's better doctor now?" He asked playfully.

"Ofcourse,me" I replied

"Ohh, really?I have saved more lives!" He teased me.

"Because I let you" I joked and chuckled

"Okay, wakey! Wakey! Chalo kuch khalo" he said in baby voice while getting up not before kissing my hairs so I do. His playful, cute, baby voice.

I laughed, sitting up beside him as he placed the tray on the table. The aroma of hot food spread up, tantalizing my sense

"Tandoori chicken with roti!?" I asked in excited voice.

"You like it?" He said with an raised eyebrows

"I love it!" I exclamate and took the  savouring the very bite.
As we ate together,Ahad shared stories of his day. His words were balm to my weary soul.

Life had come full circle. From late-night study sessions to becoming a successful gynecologist, every step had led me here. To this moment of contentment.

Ahad's presence was the missing piece I never knew I needed. He made every day brighter, every challenge easier.

As we finished our meal, Ahad took my hand, his eyes locked on mine.

"I'm proud of you, Mariyah," he said, his voice filled with emotion.

My heart swelled. "I love you. Ahad"

"Forever and always, biwi," he replied, his smile radiating love and eyes shining

My heart fluttered. I felt grateful for this life we'd built together.

Ahad's phone buzzed. He silenced it, wrapping his arms around Me.

"Leave it," he whispered, eyes sparkling.

"I'll call back later, you are important now." Ahad said while my stomach twisted.

"Pick up ahad. It might be emergency" I insisted but he shook his head

"It's not from hospital. One of my friends " he said

"Who" I asked

"Ayaan" he said his eyes on me.

"Ohh, ahad you should —

"Tiger, I will kiss you like a crazy if you talk any word now. It's our time now. I don't want anyone" he said snuggled into me more as I smiled and ran my fingers into his hairs.
