"C'mon, sweetheart, we're gonna be late!" Finnick calls through her bedroom door. It was now early November and he'd finally managed to get Niamh to create a schedule of sorts.

Every Monday through Friday at 3pm, she'd meet Callie and the twins when school ends. Sometimes, she'd spend the rest of the day with Callie but most of the times, they'd just walk her home. On the days Niamh isn't with Callie after school, she'd go over to Finnick's house. She was staying at his so often, he'd now cleared out a drawer for her clothes and other items.

On Saturdays, she'd take James and Mara to the beach as Finnick is usually in the Capitol from Friday night until early Monday morning. Mara has taken to being with her friends more so it's often just Niamh and James. On Sundays, she'd go over to Mag's for the mornings as Mags had began teaching the young victor how to crochet amongst other activities Niamh's taken up to distract herself.

Every Monday morning, Niamh would meet Finnick at the train station and they'd spend the day together until she's goes to meet Callie and the twins at 3pm. Then on Friday afternoons, she'd see him off to the train station. Niamh hated not seeing him during his Capitol trips but would never say so.

"I'll be a minute!" Niamh calls from inside her room as she changed clothes for the third time. It was Donna's birthday, she'd be turning twenty-eight, having won her games just over ten years ago at seventeen. Zander had planned her a surprise party with the victors of district 4 and Niamh's siblings who'd grown to like the company of the victors.

She finally walks out in a simple white skirt and light blue jumper. Finnick grinned at the girl before him, he couldn't deny she was beautiful no matter what she was wearing. If only she knew that.

"C'mon, pretty girl, can't be late." He smirks, wrapping his arm around her shoulders as they begin walking towards Zander's house only the one next door. For years now, Donna had lived with him. "Charlie already took the twins over to help set up."

After Donna Simone won her games, everyone said she seemed different; from bubbly to reclusive. It wasn't long before President Snow showed up at her house, threatening her family if she didn't sell herself.

With no other choice, she did so. Months passed and she was almost always in the Capitol but when she returned to district 4, her family had something to say about this. None of them knew what she was really going through.

She didn't say a word the whole time her parents and younger siblings yelled at her. Then she snapped. The next time President Snow requested her in the Capitol, she said no.

Donna hadn't realised that he would go through with the threats on her family so when she returned from the market to district 4's victors village the next day to see her house burnt to the ground, she was broken.

Only days later, she was forced to go on her victory tour. On the final day of her tour, she was made to go to the Presidential Palace. During the party, she'd began yelling at a group of Capitol men who found the idea of being in the games funny. Not long after that, her and Zander had been caught kissing by a very drunk Haymitch Abernathy.

Niamh couldn't help her excitement and nerves as they go into the decorated house. She'd never been one for parties but she was trying to get used to them in preparation for her victory tour in only two months.

As they all hid behind the furniture in wait of Donna who was on her way over. The house was silent but her nervousness only got worse so Niamh couldn't help but reach for Finnick's hand. He's told her to do that whenever she felt overwhelmed or upset instead of her usual habit of scratching her wrist.
