Survival Compliance: A psychological phenomenon that occurs when a victim feels unable to escape a traumatic situation, leading the victim to believe that they have no control over their circumstances, and therefor surrenders to it and go into "survival mode", Survival Compliance means to allow the Abuser's whims to happen with absolute compliance, despite not wanting to, until such a point where the victim can rise above the abuser and regain control of the situation. It is an adaptive psychological Trauma-response and Survival Strategy.
