Izuku Midoryia's Point Of View.

Something caught my eye, and when I looked close enough memories began rushing back to my head.

I stood up, ignoring the curious looks I got from the others, and walked over to the desk where the picture was.

Picking up the frame, the connections connected. It was a picture of me as a young kid, next to a little explosive blonde with red eyes. We each had an arm around each other with big smiles plastered on our faces.

"Kaachan!" Baby Izuku Midoryia yelled as he ran to his first friend.

"Zuzu! I'm busy making the biggest and bestest sandcastle!" Katsuki Bakugo growled as he pushed Izuku off of his back.

Even at four years old Katsuki Bakugo had a temper, he was like a firework, you never knew what would set him off and when he was angry he would explode.

"Sorry Kaachan but it's really im.. immm.." Izuku was beginning to use big words, but sometimes he couldn't pronounce them properly.

"Importunt!!" Izuku cried out catching Katsuki's attention.

"Well what is it?!" Katsuki demanded.

     "I'm moving!" Izuku yelled.

Katsuki's face fell in record time, that day was one of the only days Katuski Bakugo cried.

"Don't leave.." Katsuki cried, his tears landing in Izuku's hair.

"I'll be back! Don't worry Kaachan!" Izuku sniffled, also crying.

"Bye bye Zuzu.." Katsuki said sadly.

    "Buh Bye Kaachan.." Izuku

Izuku didn't know that he'd be gone for eleven years, he also didn't know he'd fall sick and earn a nickname. That awful nickname.. the nickname his new friends know him by..Deku.

"Deku? You good?" Kaminari asked looking up.

"Uhm.." I began, gosh what should I even say.

'Hey Kaachan, it's me. Your childhood best friend who left suddenly!'

     'Are you Kaachan? I'm zuzu!'

'Hey I know I was supposed to come back and I didn't but I'm here now.'

I sucked in a sharp breath, "Uhm.. this is a picture of me.. are you Kaachan?" I asked looking at Bakugo or I suppose Kaachan.

    "Zuzu.." he whispered.

We looked different than we did as kids, taller more grown up, different hairstyles and face shapes. I didn't have any pictures of Kaachan left, so I must've forgotten what he looked like.

As for him, he probably didn't recognize me or study me hard enough.

I was so young that I only referred to my best friend as Kaachan, eventually forgetting his real name. It was most likely the same case for him.

Tears welled in my eyes as I ran to Kaachan and jumped into his embrace.

He hugged me so hard I was having trouble breathing.

"You said you'd come back." Kaachan whispered.

"I know and I'm sorry, my mother promised we'd come back soon enough." I cried.
