Izuku Midoryia's Point Of View.
I buried my head deeper into my knees, the rain drops splashing my head. It was cold, I had taken off my blazer and left it inside the building for some reason.
I had been outside for who knows how long that it created a pattern. It went raindrop, sniffle, raindrop, sniffle, occasional thunder, raindrop, sniffle, continue.
Suddenly the pattern stopped, at first, not even looking up, I thought it had simply stopped raining. That idea was quickly bashed when a loud bang of thunder boomed, making me flinch and clutch myself harder.
"It's really raining huh..?" That all too familiar voice spoke quietly.
I didn't want to look up, I wanted him to disappear and leave me alone, although I knew that wasn't really true. I slowly lifted my head anyway, meeting the yellow eyes of Denki Kaminari.
He stood in front of me, holding an umbrella above my head, he was wearing rain gear.
"Do you.. maybe wanna talk or something...?" He asked slowly.
I shook my head rapidly and wished to disappear.
Please God let me disappear right now, maybe strike me with lightning!
I knew I was being very overdramatic, it's just a crush, I'll probably get over it soon enough, but something told me otherwise.
Just hearing his voice makes my heart want to jump out of my chest.
Was this just a crush? Why do feel so different than I have with other crushes?
Kaminari sat down next to me, still shielding me from the rain.
"So...You uhm...you dropped something in the hallway." Kaminari began.
I didn't think I dropped something, I was in such a rush to get out of that crowded hallway that I must've not noticed anything.
Kaminari didn't waste a second to pull something out of his pocket, my heart dropped when he pulled it out.
It was a piece of yellow paper, more specifically it was the note Monoma and his friends left me.
I prayed that he didn't open it up and read it or that he won't open it up and read it, I don't want his false pity.
"Look, if you want me to go beat up Monoma right now, I can, or I can get Bakugo who will probably rip off his limbs and beat him with them." Kaminari shrugged.
If my heart dropped before, it was disintegrated now.
"No! Please don't, it's fine, it's all good!" I pleaded, I don't think Kaminari believed me.
"No, it's not all good. He-" Kaminari began but I cut him off.
"Kaminari please-" I started to say.
"No Deku! It's not okay, nobody deserves to be treated that way. You don't deserve to be called a freak or told that you don't belong here." Kaminari yelled, I flinched back.
