𝑫𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝑫𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒉 - 𝑬𝒑𝒊𝒔𝒐𝒅𝒆 𝟏𝟕

Veronica and Chad are just about to finalise the divorce after months of trying to finalise it.

"You can take this ring and rot in hell!" Veronica threw her diamond ring at him.

"All I want, all I need is Archie." Veronica told him as she smirked at him.

"Your Archie hasn't really cared too much about rushing the divorce. Some may say is he really into you at all?" Chad smirked.

"You don't know us. We fought for each other. I love him Chad, unlike you who I never did love." Veronica hissed at him.

"You mean you fought for him. He didn't do shit." Chad chuckled.

"How dare you." Veronica said.

"You and him haven't talked in months but go ahead Veronica. I give you two a week as sooner or later you will realise that it's not what you want. You don't want to settle for a low life in Riverdale and that you belong in New York. You aren't someone who settles, it's not in your nature. You are materlistic, expensive and he can't give you that." Chad added as he stared at her.

"Praying for your downfall." Chad smirked at her.

"Go to hell Chad!" Veronica yelled at him before she walked away from him and left the room.

Later that day Veronica told Archie that the divorce was finalised and out of excitement they got back together and had sex.

He hasn't thought about her in months.

"What am I doing?" Archie is so confused and doesn't know what he is doing.

Is this really the life he wants to live, who he wants to be with?

At Riverdale High the gang are in the common room.

Jughead, Kevin, Cheryl, Veronica and Archie.

Betty enters, she notices Veronica smiling up at Archie which could only mean that Veronica got her divorce finalised and that they are now back together again.

Guiltily she is praying for their downfall.

But why does it sting?

She thought she and Archie are just friends but then why does it hurt.

"Hey guys." Betty said as she entered the common room.

"Hey Bee." Veronica said, not trying to keep her hands off Archie's.

"Oh Arch I asked Jug and Tabitha and I was wondering if you could help too, I think I may have found a clue as to where Polly's body is." Betty cleared her throat.

"Yeah sure, I'm there Betty. Whatever you need." Archie reassured her that he would be there.

"Perfect." Betty said as she left to go to teach her class but she was stopped by Archie in the hallway who was not with Veronica as she was still in the common room with the others.

"Betty, me and Veronica are –

"Back together right, just like you wanted. That's good Arch, real good." Betty looked up at him.

"You're hurt." Archie said.

"Then be with her. I'm fin-

"I can't when all I can think about is y-

He paused there for a second.

"No more games Betty, what is it that you want? You have tried to tell me what I want but what is it that you want?" Archie asked her, curious.
