ISABELLA POV:
"Ella, how much more time do you need?" he yelled through the closed door, his annoyance palpable. I couldn't help but feel a flutter in my chest whenever he used that unique nickname, one that no one else had ever bestowed upon me.
As I prepared for our shopping excursion - a outing that I insisted was not a date - I slipped into the white dress I had worn previously, focusing on styling my hair and applying makeup. Maria had graciously lent me her makeup and accessories for the day. With the support of the wall,
I made my way out of the room, where Christian was waiting near the staircase. He looked hot in his casual attire, a white linen shirt paired with beige pants. His curly hair were undone and fell on his eyes, hiding his oceanic eyes. Even in his casual attire, he still looked so mesmerizing to me.
When he turned to look at me, his expression transformed from annoyance to something more complex, though I couldn't quite decipher it.
"I don't have all day to wait for you, Ella," he said calmly, striding towards me before taking my hand in his.
"Let's go." He gently pulled me towards the stairs, but I winced in pain, prompting a look of confusion followed by concern.
"Oh, I'm sorry," he exclaimed, kneeling down to examine my injured foot. "We'll visit the hospital too; the bleeding isn't stopping", He scooped me into his arms once more, and I couldn't help but wonder at the ease with which he carried me. Is this thing normal for him? He carries me around like I weighed nothing.
As we strolled towards the car, I finally had the opportunity to observe his face up close.
His effortless demeanor while carrying me was impressive, and I couldn't help but notice the subtle flexing of his muscles beneath his white shirt. Although they were slightly visible, I could sense their toned and sharp definition.
The sharpness of his jawline and thick dark eyebrows added an air of boldness to his already striking features.
His appearance is always neat and simple, yet his visuals just makes me look handsome in everything he wears. He exuded a sense of hot and rugged charm, when his hair was mussed, he looked endearingly cute.
It was astonishing how easily he could pull off looks, just by wearing clothes.
His eyes were a breathtaking shade of blue, so captivating that I felt I could drown in their depths without even noticing.
The more I look into them, the more i sensed that there's more into it than that christian shows; and I could stare into them all day if I could.
As he placed me in the passenger seat of his sleek sports car, I felt my heart skip a beat. He jogged around to his side, settling into the driver's seat before asking, "Are you ready?" I gave him a perplexed look, wondering why he felt the need to ask.
"Tsk tsk!" He leaned forward, fastening my seatbelt with a gentle touch. "You're so careless about yourself, aren't you?" he teased, his eyes locking onto mine.
He didn't back away after securing the seatbelt, his face inches from mine. "Take care of yourself; I might not always be there for you." he whispered, his index finger booping my nose.
What is wrong with HIM??! Why he's acting so nice with me??
"You're flushed again; what's wrong? Are you some kind of human chameleon?" He laughed, his eyes crinkling at the corners.
Despite his aloof demeanour, he was surprisingly foolish when it came to matters of the heart.
Or He KNOWS what exactly he's doing to me and my foolish Heart!!
