Chapter 8: Lost in crowd
Hyejin's eyes scanned the vibrant Jeonju-si park, with her daughter, until she gets call from his mother.
(Hyejin) Yes mom?
(Mom) How are you my daughter? Does he treat you well?
(Hyejin) I'm fine mom, yeah.... h-he treats me well.
(Mom) He don't love you then why are you with him just because you love him. Jinnie he still loves his husband. Just take care of my granddaughter ok.
(Hyejin) Yeah, mom i'm taking care of her. Right honey......
She had turned her back for just a moment, and now Jiwoo was nowhere to be seen.
(Hyejin) I'll call you later mom.
Panic set in as Hyejin frantically searched the crowds, her mind racing with worst-case scenarios.
Hyejin pulled out her phone and dialed a familiar number.
(Someone)Hello? Didn't i tell you don't call me we are in our meeting.
A deep voice answered.
(Hyejin) Jiwoo got lost in the park. I still couldn't find her.
Hyejin said, her voice trembling.
(Someone) I'm on my way. Didn't i tell you take care of her.
The voice replied, firm and worriedness.
He hung up the call while Hyejin start finding ji-woo again. After some times she found her with someone else.
(Hyejin) Honey, there you are! I was worried about you!
Hyejin exclaimed, rushing toward Jiwoo, relief washing over her face.
Jiwoo grinned, waving at Jaemin, who was sitting there with unknown girl until her mom comes to them.
(Jiwoo) Mom, this is Jaemin oppa.
Jiwoo said, her eyes sparkling.Hyejin's gaze shifted to Jaemin, her expression softening.
(Hyejin) I'm sorry if she disturbed you. She's always been a naughty girl,
Hyejin apologized, smiling.
Jaemin smiled warmly.
(Jaemin) It's okay, Mrs... She didn't disturb me at all,
Jaemin reassured.
Just then, Jaemin's bodyguards approached.
(Bodyguard) Time to go, sir. Victor sir messaged us to take you to the hotel,
one of the guards reminded.
Jaemin nodded, bidding farewell to Jiwoo and Hyejin. Jaemin was few meters away until. Jiwoo shout.
(Jiwoo) Jaemin oppa lets meet again. Goodbye.
Jaemin smiles at her.
(Jaemin) Hope so.
Hyejin's concern resurfaced.
(Hyejin) Jiwoo, you scared me. Don't wander off like that again, okay?
As Jaemin walked away meanwhile Someone comes inside after jaemin went away. He directly went to his daughter.
(Someone) Are you ok princess, did someone tries to bully or kidnapp you?
