Four hours till... what?

I'm so sorry for the super long wait, but please stick with me as I have posted the newest chapter to Naruto and Sasuke's journy! Enjoy!

Sasuke's POV

Recap

"Ah, Kitsune-sama, Raven-sama, how are we liking our stay?" she asks with a smile. The fakeness of that smile make me want to vomit, who knows how Naruto feels. "Ah yes it's good, me and Raven are busy so if you'll excuse us!" Naruto leads me away to a clearing in the outskirts of the village, where a beautiful Sakura tree grows. Naruto looks the other way, a blush coating his face. "Sasuke I need to tell you something--"

Onto

"Sasuke I need to tell you something..." I look at Naruto, waiting for him to continue. "Sasuke, I-I love you, I have ever since the mission in wave, I was devastated to hear I was banished because I'd never get to see you again and then you came after me and now I--" I place my lips over his to shut him up. He tenses before melting into the kiss. We pull away panting. "I love you too usuratonkachi." Naruto smiles and cuddles up to me, nuzzling into my chest. I wrap my arms around the blond, my blond. I smile and pull him closer. "Naruto Uzumaki, will be my boyfriend?" I ask.

"Of course Teme!"

After a little while Naruto asks, "Sasuke... when do we need to start the mission?"

"Later."

"Can we get ready?"

I nod and let Naruto get up. He slides his mask over his face. I do the same. We shushin to the hotel and Naruto rushes to the bathroom and puts on his outfit. Naruto emerges in black anbu pants, a dull gold long sleeved shirt, a black vest coat that goes down to just past his knees with a golden inside, his kitsune mask on the side of his face, and navy blue ninja shoes. "Your turn Teme!" Naruto says, walking out of the way. I walk in and after a ton of Naruto's complaining I emerge wearing a black coat like the Akatsuki's but no clouds, my mask over my face, black anbu pants, black ninja shoes, and black fingerless gloves. "We should leave our katanas here?" I ask Naruto. "Nah, show them our strength!" Naruto decides. I shrug and strap my katana on my hip, while Naruto's twin katanas are on his back, handles pointing down. We nod and shushin into the hokage building. "Hokage, what shall we do?" I say bowing before Tsunade. Naruto just stands there whistling. "Ah yes. You two, Sakura and Sai will do a scout around the eastern woods, killing any sound ninjas there. The attack should be tomorrow," Tsunade says. The second she finishes, Sai and Sakura enter the room. "It'll be a pleasure working with you!" Sakura says cheerfully. I sigh. 'I would rather keep kissing Naruto...' I think. I look at Naruto, wearing his Kitsune uniform. I'm so happy Naruto chose to be my boyfriend. "No talk just business," Naruto orders. I stifle a laugh at that. Me and Naruto shushin to the eastern gates. "I hate this!" Naruto grumbles. "Same here," I agree. We sit on the top of the wall and wait for the Konoha ninja to arrive. "Ah, they're here now," I inform the sleeping Naruto.

"Uh huh?" he mumbles. I chuckle and push him off. "HEY!!" He shouts. "You little piece of s--"

"Hey guys!" Sakura says. Naruto grumbles before pushing me off the wall. "How's you get up the wall so fast?!" Sakura asks.

"Magic," Naruto says, waving his hands unenthusiastically. Sakura puffs her cheeks out in annoyance. "Stupid!" she grumbles under her breath.

"What was that!?!" Naruto shouts. Sakura looks up at Naruto and waves her hands around with a terrified look. "N-nothing!" she stutters. I snicker at this. Naruto turns (just his head) to face me. Through his mask I see his one eye twitching. "What's so funny?!" Naruto asks, scaring me half to death. I shushin into a tree, hiding. "OH I KNOW WHERE YOU ARE!!!" Naruto roars, his voice taking on a demonic tone. I shriek and dash away, conveniently running in the direction they needed to go anyways.

Third POV

The two mercenaries dashed through the forest. A blue and a gold blob going too fast for the human eye. Sasuke stops in his tracks, which causes Naruto to flip over him and plummet to the ground. Sasuke hears a loud smash before looking down to see a Naruto hole in the ground. "Oww!" He hears Naruto cry. At that moment, Sai and Sakura finally arrive, both sweaty and out of breath. "Where's....Kitsune...At?" Sakura asks, still trying to catch her breath. Sasuke points at the hole in the ground. All of a sudden Naruto launches out of the hole, landing right beside Sasuke. "Let's go!" He says, as if nothing happened. "But sleep with one eye open Raven!" he adds. Sasuke gulps. Sakura and Sai sweat drop. The four scout the area, finding spies here and there. "Come on I need to-- Wait!" Naruto runs to an old wooden table. The embers of a fire were still warm. "Someone was recently here!" Naruto shouts before biting his thumb, making it bleed. "Summoning jitsu!" In a puff of smoke, a small white fox with navy tipped ears and a moon pattern on his forehead appeared. "Nyx, please track where these people are going and how many there are," Naruto orders. By now everyone was surrounding Naruto. Nyx runs around, sniffing everything before reporting back to Naruto. "There was about one hundred and fifty shinobi, one of them being Orchimaru," Nyx announces.

"Where are they heading?" Naruto asks. A dreadful suspense hanging over Sai and Sakura. Nyx takes a deep breath before answering. "There was only ONE destination in which they will arrive in about four hours from now with necessary stops," Nyx says.

"Nyx, where are they going?!" Naruto asks, gritting his teeth. Nyx had a habit of doing this. Nyx looked at Naruto and Sasuke. "Orchimaru and all of his army are now heading to... Konhagakure." Naruto nods and immediately dashes towards the village, as fast as he can.

And tadaaa! I'm so so so so sorry for the loooooong wait! This was going to be posted earlier but I forgot where this was headed, but then recently I had a dream that reinspired my imagination! I'm soo so so so so sorry for the wait! Ja a ne!
