It's been three months since Sasuke and Kitsune had arrived in Kumogakure. Every day Kitsune would make Sasuke train for hours on end, giving him the ability to gain the power he could only dream of. Kitsune said that he had a surprise for Sasuke. But the Uchiha had no idea whatsoever what this surprise could be.
Sasuke's POV
Kitsune walks onto the training ground, hands empty. "Where's the surprise you said?" I demand.
"Eh uh, the surprise is you get to see my real face!" Kitsune punches the air. "Alright! I'll also tell you my name!"
I lean closer to Kitsune in anticipation. He slowly removes his mask. Revealing a cloth mask, once the fox mask is over his nose his face starts getting revealed. Tan skin, cerulean blue eyes, and blond locks. I gasp. He then pulls down the cloth mask. Revealing three whisker marks on each cheeks. "My name is Naruto Uzumaki-Namikaze. Former member of Konohagakure!" I stare at him with wide eyes. "N-Naruto?" I whisper. "You're alive?!" Kitsu-Naruto nods sheepishly. "I'm alive, though I didn't know when to tell you... But I guess today's that day!" Naruto explains. I just run up to Naruto and envelope him in a hug. "Very un-Uchiha of you!" He comments. I pull back and face away. "Hn."
"There's the Uchiha we all know and love!" Naruto exclaims.
"Hn."
Naruto's pure laugh fills the space. "Come on! Dinners almost ready!" He leads me into the house. I sit at the table we've sat at for three months. Naruto hands me a bowl of avocado, tomato, lettuce and carrot salad with yakitori chicken with a small bowl rice. I look at the salad and notices that my bowl has more tomatoes. "Arigato," I mumble. He nods.
"Itadakimasu!" We both say before digging in. In the middle of our meal, Naruto remembers something. "Sasuke! I also have one more surprise for you!" He gets up and runs to his room, pulling out a black bag. He drags it to the table and gently places it on the table. He removes three masks from it. A bear, wolf and raven. "Pick one, I'm obviously Kitsune!" Naruto claps. I pick up the crow mask and put it on. "Awesome! Now we're the Golden Kitsune and the Black Raven!" Naruto shouts.
