"HENRY!" My mom shouts. "Get yourself down these stairs this instant!" She continues. I shrugged and headed down stairs. I was met by my mom with big eyes and and frustrated face. "Why didn't you take your medication this morning?" She points to the pills I drink for my depression. "I told you I don't need them anymore..." I furrowed my eyebrows. "We'll see about that, when you try to cut yourself again!" She yelled.

"Honey why instead of shouting at him, try being supportive." My dad interrupted. My dad has always been the calm one in our family. He stared her down. "Mom I'm feeling much better. Besides, it was two years ago. I don't even know why I'm still on this crap." I stated. "Until your therapist says you're fine, I won't let you stop drinking them." She hissed.

"What are you gonna do? Force them down my throat?" I said sarcastically. "If I have to.." She replied. "Okay you two enough now." My dad demanded. My mom is a lawyer and it runs in my genes. So we easily bump heads. And when we argue, it doesn't stop until my dad medals in.

I love my mom very much, but her court attitude makes it hard for us to go a day without fighting. "Anyway, I'm off to school." I said as I left.

I had to catch a ride with my best friend Eloise this morning because my dad had an early meeting at the school he works at and didn't have any time to drop me off. When i got out and closed the door, Eloise was already waiting for me. "Hey idiot! Hurry up!" She yelled through the window. "Someone's in a rush." I replied as I got into the car.

I always love when Eloise comes to pick me up because we listen to the weirdest music ever and sing our voices gone. I can't sing for the life of me, but neither can Eloise so we don't judge each other.

When we got to school and into a parking space, I took a deep breath knowing what's about to happen. "How many do you think will stare today?" I ask Eloise. This has become a regular question before school when Eloise gives me a lift. I don't see it but somehow everyone thinks I'm good looking. I don't mind it though because everyone likes me. For some reason I hate my body and can't seem to find what's so perfect about it. "Pretty much everyone.. Your clothes are more revealing than usual." She replied with a lifted eyebrow.

When we got out we immediately noticed every ones eyes in my direction. A whistle here and there, as well as a few winks. At this point, it doesn't even make me uncomfortable anymore. I could be wearing sweatpants and a huge oversized hoodie, and the same thing would happen. I know this because that was my outfit yesterday...

As we walked down the hallway to our lockers someone groped my butt and then wrapped there arm around my waist. It was this kid called Lucas. "Why don't you come with me to my car?" He asked. I didn't even know he was gay? "No thank you Lucas. I have to get to class." I said not paying any attention to him. "Oh please?" He begged. "Lucas, either you let him go or ill kick you on your tiny dick and make sure you can never even think of fucking again." Eloise interrupted. He didn't even think twice before leaving me and returned to his friends who were all bursting with laughter.

"That was a bit rough, don't you think?" I looked in Eloise's direction. "Probably, but he needed to hear that to break his huge ego." She replied with frustration. "Okay calm down Elly.." I said scared of her. "Don't you dare call me Elly!" She yelled.

After school I walked down the hall to my locker and put away a few unnecessary books, then left to get home. Eloise couldn't take me home since she had cheer practice, but I was in the mood to walk home anyway.

"Hey Henry wait up!" a familiar voice shouted. I turned around only to see Lucas standing behind me. He was significantly taller then me so he was staring down on me. "Lucas..." I said trying to act all nonchalant and looked to the side. "What do you want this time?" I furrowed my eyebrows. "Now that you don't have your 'body guard' with you, would you like to come with me to my car?" His eyes were serious. "You're not gonna leave me alone until I do, are you?" "Nope." His face was full of hope. "Fine." I shrugged and followed him to his car.

Me and Lucas have known each other since we were juniors, so I have no idea were the sudden interest is coming from. We headed to his car and he opened the door for me. "Lucas, why are you opening my door for me? I'm not a girl and I do have hands that work perfectly well." He lifted his shoulders in innocence and went to his side.

We sat there in silence for a moment until he turned on his car. "What are you doing?" I broke the silence. "Chill, I'm just turning on the heater because it's cold." It is quite cold and I'm regretting not grabbing my jacket this morning.

"So why did you bring me to your car?" I broke the silence once more. "I don't know actually. I just like looking at you." "Eew perv!" I chuckled out. "Can I ask you something?" He lifted an eyebrow. "Sure." I nodded. "Can I maybe kiss you?" I struck at his words. "You realize how big of a geek you sound like?" I laughed. "Yeah but I didn't just want to do it. I still have respect." He stared at me. "Oh so was it out of respect when you grabbed my ass this morning?" I furrowed my eyebrows. "Oh yeah that was just my friends daring me, but since then I actually couldn't get you out of my head."

"How cute." I smiled at him. "But that's probably not a good idea Lucas." He looked saddened at my words. "Please Henry. At least just a peck?" He looked at me with puppy eyes. "Fine but then I'm getting out." "Yes!" He shouted in excitement. I leaned forward and closed my eyes. Not a single split second could pass then I felt his lips against mine. He tried holding the kiss as long as possible until I broke contact. "Thanks Henry." "Lucas stop I'm cringing! No one says thanks after a kiss!" I got out of the car and immediately felt the cold air crash against my body.

I started walking at a good pace, putting my air pods in and listened to some music. All of a sudden I crashed into something, making me stumble and fall. I saw a guy standing in front of me. I judged his outfit as my eyes went up. Expensive shoes, plain black jean and a black hoodie that had to have been expensive because its from a brand that only rich people can afford. Then my eyes met his. Before I could get a look at his face, he stepped over me and continued walking.

I stood up shaking of my clothes and continued walking. 'How rude of him' I think to myself.
