It was a normal day at the house the sun shining pelicans dipping off in the horizon.

It had been awhile since Diego had really thought about things with Ted.

Yeah sure they had been together for over a year now and they were both around 18-19 but he never really thought about asking Ted to marry him.

He knew it was probably different from how it was before the apocalypse but he still wanted to ask. To him marriage was a sacred thing. One that showed you're devotion to someone.

Diego was surely nervous about it. He wasn't afraid Ted would be mad but he was scared it was too soon.

Diego was madly in love with Ted and he knew Ted felt the same way so why not go for it?

Diego still felt dread at the idea he might say no.

He hated the idea that he might scare Ted away from him.

Diego was nervous as hell. When was he gonna do it anyway?

Diego thought about it. Thinking about how Ted could react and how and what to say.

He thought about where to do it at as well.

Diego felt a break of nervousness in his heart. Today the question would either break or bond there relationship which made Diego uncertain.

What if Ted was gonna leave him?

What if he didn't feel the same?

What if Ted got angry for even asking such a ridiculous question?

All these questions replayed in Diegos mind as he paced around the house waiting for Ted to come back with wood.

He knew he loved Ted. While Ted was crazy so was he. He fought off an entire nocturnal and killed a man for him. As well as Ted had killed his ex.

They were practically made for each other.

They we're both psycho. But that's what made there relationship fun.

They were basically reckless teenagers trying to sort themselves out while having the same experiences any other person going through the apocalypse would.

They would kill and wound others for each other. They were amazing together.

Just then Ted pulled into the sand with the car.

"Hey bunny. " Ted called laughing.

"Hello Ted." Diego laughed.

The name bunny was given to him by Ted because of his fascination by rabbits and bunnies alike. Diego hated to hunt the things unless forced to.

Diego smiled as he opened the front door with Ted inside still kissing him passionately.

Ted bit Diego's lip slightly.

"Okay, I think that's enough for you mister." Diego joked playfully bating his eyes at Ted.

"You're so soft. I can't help it." Ted smiled pressing his fingertips on his lips.
