A few weeks had passed, and Imogen had managed to stay out of trouble—excluding stuffing about with Sirius in class, of course. Imogen found herself at the black lake, it was officially spring, Marlene, Mary, and Lily loved to hang outside  ❨ on days it wasn't too cold— otherwise Marlene would just complain! ❩ "Honestly," Lily groaned, on her lap was a pile of books, it was the weekend, and she had suggested to 'hang out' —mentioning nothing about studying. "If I have to memorise one more list of ingredients, my brain will just... explode, we've made too many potions, there is no way I will remember anything." The redhaired girl complained.

Marlene laughed, attempting to snatch one of the books from Lily ❨ Bloody Marlene and her snatching! ❩ Though the Evans girl was not having it, she gripped the book and pulled it out of Marlene's hands and to her chest. "Lily, you are going to pass top of our grade; give it a rest." Marlene spoke, looking to Mary and Imogen, who nodded in agreement.

Lily sighed, "But... exams are next month, and if I don't memorise these, I'll fail!" She let out as Mary took the books from her.

"A month, a month, Lily!" Imogen spoke in shock. If she was being completely honest, she hadn't even started studying for her exams, they had heaps of time. Why was Lily so stressed already? "Slughorn said the ingredients won't be worth too many marks anyway," she reminded her friend.

Mary took Lily's quill before Marlene spoke again, "Let's forget exams for the next week or so. Imogen, would you care to explain why you are red as a tomato while talking with Sirius in every potions class?" Marlene questioned, immediately Imogen felt her cheeks flush again. "Also, I know you guys snuck off a few weeks ago, you better not be having a secret relationship without telling us about it!" She let out, her voice raised loud enough for others to hear. Imogen quickly looked around them, luckily no one else was in hearing distance. It was early in the morning and the breeze was cool, if it wasn't for Lily convincing them and waking up. then the girls would probably still be fast asleep
