Today, September 22nd, a Light-being was spotted right outside of the gate. Everyone was told to keep quiet or it'd come in. You'd think that'd be impossible with the gate blocking its way in, which is locked, but they can get through. I was sent outside through the backgate to take care of it. I brought my pistol, my vest, and my sunglasses. The Light-being was roaming around the walls, trying to listen for anyone that could be inside, but it didn't hear me sneaking up behind it. At least not until I stepped on a few leaves which made a loud crunching sound.

It turned around quickly, its shadow-like exterior beginning to glow brighter. I was already hidden behind the corner with my hand gripping my gun tightly. My hand wasn't shaking but I knew I was probably done for if I didn't do this right. I needed to take care of this problem. This is my job. Footsteps got closer to my location; soft, quiet ones. "CՆПᕓ Ն┍Ɠ, ⴵ▍ᕓƵƓ┍▍ᕓ. I ƼᕓƵ▍Щ ßՆ┍," it spoke. I couldn't understand it, but I knew what it said wasn't a good thing. Instead of running away, I decided to just get it over with and quickly turn the corner and shoot it. And that's what I did before I got blinded by its body glowing very bright.

At this moment, I knew that my decision was a bad one. "G-get away from me!" I yelled out. What I said wasn't gonna do anything, but it was worth a shot. "LЦ ⴵՆ┍▍Ħᕓ ԖΛƓ ĦⴿᕓƵϷĦ. I ƓƼՆ┍╥ƼƓ ßՆ┍▍ ϷԖΛϺЩ ⴵՆ┍ӨЩ ՆϺӨß Ħⴵ▍ᕓƵП. Get up," I could feel my body being pulled up by nothing. The Light-being was probably using his telekinesis on me. "You look disgusting. Does your kind have showers?" ...Showers? What did it know about showers? Why is it speaking English now?

"Yeah, but... Ow..." My eyes hurt from the light. I covered them with my arm, trying to protect them just in case the creature decided to blind me again. "We don't have much to shower with, just water. So there's no point in it at all," I hissed at the aching pain. "Stop being such a baby, it's probably not even that bad," the creature's light faded away slightly, just enough for it to look like a regular human with green eyes, caucasian skin, and a dark blonde wavy mullet. In one second, I was able to see again. "Happy? Look at me."

The creature grabbed my chin and made me look at him. He looked into my eyes, an expression that looked both empty and like he was examining me. He was about as tall as me, 6 feet and 2 inches. I pulled away and grabbed my gun, which was then slapped out of my hand. "I haven't hurt you fatally, have I? You don't have a reason to shoot me," which was true, but I can't just let this creature walk freely. "My name is A▍ⴵƼՆϺ. But in your language, I assume it is Archon. What is yours?" I stared into the creature—Archon's—eyes. They were, I'm guessing the whole spectrum, but green, as humans see green the best in the light spectrum. That's what's been studied, and what I've been taught. "Onyx. I was named that because my grip is strong, and Onyx means 'strong claws.' My grip isn't only strong physically, but mentally," I stepped back.

I snuck him back home with me. It was actually pretty easy to sneak him in the village because of his power, he just went invisible to sneak in. As much as I wanted to kill him, he wasn't a threat towards anyone, and anyone mostly meaning me, so I'm not a threat to him. Once we got to my house, I shut the front door, and behind me, Archon appears. "Your room is dirty," he told me. I turned to him and saw him looking around my house. "Thank you for letting me know."

To explain the village more, we extracted the Russian spaceship technology and used it to build a small slightly futuristic village. With not just the ground and nearby resources, but also tech and whatever else we could find within the spaceship. All residents, including my mom, have separate homes - unless they want to live with each other. Like my mom's boyfriend, he lives with her. I chose to live alone.

"You look like you have something on your mind. Tell me," Archon spoke, looking towards my direction. "Why didn't you kill me? Are you gonna do it later? Are you bored or something?" I looked him in the eyes, as did he with mine. He shrugged. "I don't get why my species murders yours. There's no point in it. You hunters are all the same until something different happens, then you go back to your ways with the other ones that aren't pacifists," he slowly floats back down, landing on his feet. "I'm not a pacifist, Onyx. I'll kill you right now, only if I had to. I'm not afraid of you," and at that moment, I was afraid of him. "Only reason I didn't before is because I wasn't in the mood to. Besides, you don't even look like a hunter. Are you official?"

"It's not just skill or looks that makes a hunter a hunter. How would you know that anyway, you don't even hunt. You get hunted," I was about to step away, slowly reaching for my closet where all my gear was, until I was pulled back into my spot, by telekinesis, it felt like. "My kind doesn't kill the innocent. Did you ever think that maybe we fight because our innocent die? Killed by your kind? All because we did one single thing. And tell me, what was that thing again?"

"One of your kind killed one of ours--"

"And how were we supposed to know what you were? You suddenly appeared on our planet, and you started killing us. All of you."

"I'm doing it because I grew up with it. Not because I just want to kill your kind, I was taught to do this."

"Your kind is evil."
