We were at the headquarters, in an office where an oval-shaped table and a bunch of chairs around it were. Erah was at the whiteboard, Eudo was helping her while barely trying, and Archon and I were talking to each other. We weren't trying to do our job, just having fun. Suddenly, the lights shut off. Archon and I went silent, Eudo sat down in front of us, and Erah sat down at the end of the table. Her eyes glowed brightly, and a hologram of this planet appeared above the table. I'm guessing it was coming from Erah. "That is our planet. If there is a war between luminaries and your kind, Onyx, this planet is going to die. Your kind will easily die unless we give them technology, and our kind will easily destroy everything." "I'll get some gear for you to bring to your village, Onyx. You and your boyfriend can go ahead and go, we'll stay here and try to figure out how to make something to give immunity to you guys. Erah's an elder, so don't expect it to take long."
I nodded. The hologram was gone and the lights came back on. I looked down as I got out of my chair and pushed it in. "Alright. And he's not my boyfriend. We're just friends." I stood up, pushing my chair in and looking at Eudo who was waiting for us to follow him, and we did. Erah stayed behind, me and Archon left the room and Eudo unlocked a door with four presses on the keypad. A full-on armory was inside, including a metal door to the right side. "Go ahead and go in there. The code is 4484." Archon waved bye towards Eudo and entered the code into the metal door. Light weapons were inside. Rifles, shotguns, pistols, etcetera.
"Archon? I just realized something important. If humans are gonna be going against your kind- the bad ones- won't we just easily lose? There's not even twenty humans here. It's pointless." "Erah and I were thinking about cloning your kind. It'd help a lot, and it's not hard." I nodded, going towards a small pistol. It looked cooler and stronger than my previous gun, and I can actually see myself using it.
We brought the loadout to my village in a case, placing it down on the ground and sounding the bell. "Everyone! Come here!" I yelled. Archon went invisible, only to be seen by me in case someone thought he was harmful. Most of the people came over, and I opened the case, explaining everything. Some agreed to help, some went back to their homes because they were either scared or just didn't want to. Some thought I was stupid. They were given their guns and whatever else they might need. Everyone eventually went away, as did I as I went back to the safehouse with Archon. No one was there besides Lux. I'm guessing everyone was at the headquarters.
"Want me to show you how to take care of Lux?" Archon said as he walked away from me over towards the alien dog. I shrugged, nodding slightly. "Sure, if it's easy to do. Don't expect me to always do it after you teach me." Archon smiled and crouched down next to Lux, and I did the same. Right after I approached carefully. "Go ahead. Pet him." I reached towards the dog slowly and hesitantly, placing my hand on its head and gently rubbing back and forth. "Like this?" The dog yawned and leaned into my touch, its tail beginning to wag. "Yup. Just keep doing that. And for his food, just pour a bag of food into the bowl. There's one in the cabinet right there," he pointed to the cabinet under the sink. I nodded. "And the other side is water, correct?" Archon nodded. "I'm going to go to the headquarters and see how Erah and Eudo are doing. Are you going to be okay here alone?" He looked into my eyes with visible worry. My bright vision flickered back as he did, him looking right at me felt strange to me. In a good way. "Of course, Archon. I have this puppy right here." I smiled at him and he smiled back, disappearing in a blink of an eye. "That is not a puppy,"
He left, and in came Eudokeo. "Ugh! Dumb... Oh... Onyx. I didn't think anyone would be here." He looked strange, and he was pretty much acting strange too. "Well... You thought wrong. What's up?" "Nothing, my friend. You did give your village the gear, right? No mess-ups? They all got a weapon?" He stepped a bit closer to me, rubbing the back of his neck. He seemed frantic, not sure if with nervousness or anxiety. "C'mon. Answer me." I looked at Lux, then back at him. "Yes, they... They did, Eudo. Why are you acting like this?" I stood up, stepping towards him. "I'm acting perfectly fine, stop worrying. Get back." I nodded slightly, letting out a quiet sigh as I did. "I'm just trying to help you, Eudo..."
I stepped closer again, not afraid of him. I put a hand on his shoulder. "You really don't listen, do you?" He chuckled quietly. "Eudo-" "I said get BACK." Immediately after he yelled, eyes glowing brighter as well as my vision, I was thrown against the wall with extreme strength. Lux began to bark at Eudo. "W-Wh- ow..." I wheezed, trying to breathe after the impact against my back. "Can't talk now, can you? Still want to get close to me? Still want to help?" He kicked me while I was down, causing me to spit out blood. He looked at Lux and scoffed, walking away as Lux chased after him, and before he was able to get him, he stopped barking and fell to the ground. "N-n...no..." My vision got brighter and brighter as I reached towards Lux. I turned my head to the ground and where I was looking began to brighten slightly, not caused by my vision but my eyes and something other than anger or pain rushed through me. Adrenaline? I tried to get up, succeeding but before I could go after Eudo... I fainted.
