He pulled back, looking at the wall, then down to the floor. "Are you really feeling okay, though? Or was your face just red because of me?" "I'm okay, Archon." He pulled away, letting go of me. "Alright, c'mon. Let go. I wanna go check up on Erah. Do you wanna come with me?" I let go of him, standing up with a scoff following. "You don't have to ask, of course I am. Anywhere you go, I go." He nodded and stood up, looking into my eyes and the next second we were at the headquarters.
Erah wasn't there. Someone else was. "Hey! Who are you?" Archon's eyes glowed as he stepped back in a form like he was about to charge at them. "Doesn't matter. You two brought guns out from the armory, right? To his village?" He pointed at me. "We did, your turn. Answer us." The stranger scoffed. "Eudokeo told us to do it." He looked at the door then back at us. "All the guns you brought out and gave to those villagers were tampered with. They either don't work or they'll just completely backfire. Really, the only thing you can do now is go back there and take the weapons back, but... They might already be using them or have already used them." Archon gasped, getting out of his stance. "Oh, f... Onyx, c'mon!"
We teleported—or he teleported us—back to the village. We're at the entrance, and a few villagers are laying on the ground either dead or trying to breathe. There's only little left. "Get up! You said you'd kill me, so go ahead!" ...There he was. Eudokeo. Archon charged at him, and as he did, time began to slow down. My vision got brighter and brighter, and I stumbled, almost falling. I looked at the ground and could see that same glow from before. A light rushed through me. "EUDO!" I yelled. He looked towards me and Archon was still charging at him, but I wanted to get to him first. I charged towards Eudo and tackled him onto the ground, punching him over and over. I couldn't control myself. My palms were glowing while my fists were clenched, making light seep out of them.
I began to see blood on my fists, but I continued. I didn't want to stop, no matter how much my body tried. "Onyx, stop! He's done!" Archon pushed me off of Eudo, who was coughing blood out and staring at the sky with his eyes dim. "No he's not..." My eyes began to get dimmer too, the glow disappearing and my vision going back to a weaker brightness. "I want to kill him." "No. The sickness is getting to you." He sighed, crouching down in front of me. "It's getting worse," he mumbled to himself. "Oh my Vega, I forgot about the villagers. Don't touch him. He's hurt enough." "Don't act like you wouldn't have done the same if you got to him first." I felt anger.
"I wouldn't have." He left me alone with Eudokeo's body. I looked at it and scoffed, laying down fully and staring at the sky. Archon carried the dead bodies out from the village, pulling a box–shaped pile of dirt out of the ground with telekinesis, big enough to fit someone. He put the dead bodies in and buried them, creating a gravestone out of nowhere for them. He did that for every dead body. The anger began to subside and I began to remember, "A-Archon... My... Oh god. My mom!" I quickly got up, struggling to but I managed. "No, Onyx.. Sit down." "My mom's probably in there injured! I didn't see you bring her out!" He looked at me like he had something to say. He did. "That's because her dead body is in a grave, Onyx. Everyone here is dead except for one person, and I don't think your mom is a guy."
Archon led me to one of the graves and sat down next to me. My mother's grave. "Are you okay?" He whispered to me, placing his hand on mine. I didn't answer him, I didn't want to talk at all. "...Do you want me to stay here with you?" I shook my head very slightly, almost not even doing it. He noticed and nodded. ...Silence.
I ruffled his hair and stood up, taking one last look at him and the grave before walking away. I went back into our home, and into the bedroom, laying down. I pulled the covers all the way over my body and closed my eyes. I was ready to fall asleep. But then I began to think about Onyx. The thoughts were mostly the good things, the only bad thing was about his sickness. It's getting worse, especially because of all the things going on. The more bad things that happen to him or around him, the worse he'll get. I'm not sure if he'll even die, he'll probably lose his control of himself completely. He won't just kill Erah and me, he'll kill everyone.
The covers started to pull back. It was Onyx. "Oh, sorry." I lifted my head from the pillow and covers, letting him pull them off of me. He got in next to me, hugging me as tightly as he could. I hugged back. "You should've let me kill Eudo," he clenched his hands around my shirt. "Onyx... Shhh... Stop thinking about that. Think about things that make you happy." I rubbed his back and closed my eyes. "Fall asleep with me. We'll go see Erah tomorrow and deal with this, okay?" I felt him nod.
