Love at first sight

"In this story. Lucy's a FBI agent, this is set a few weeks after Lucy's abduction. Caleb and Rosalind are more connected to the FBI. Tim and Angela ride together. Tim's a Sargent. Jackson's still alive so is captain ."

Tim Bradford a stern and well respected LAPD Sargent persona crumbles when he first lays eyes on a FBI agent Lucy Chen. She's a short girl with the most beautiful brown eyes that are always full of love and care, her long wavy brown hair flows in the wind when she's at crime scene and damn can she take any man or woman in a fight. But what tim loved most what the first time they met.

It was cold autumns morning in L.A, patrol cars wondering around the streets with no calls just a chill relaxing morning. Suddenly Tim and Angela get a call over the radio to report to a crime scene to help with a FBI investigation. As the duo pulled up outside a crisp wind bouncing off their face they made their way over to 2 FBI agents to ask about the crime. "Seriously? You got some random cops to help on my crime scene?" A voice said behind them. "Look Lucy it's not a personal attack it's just we needed some extra help and that's okay, you don't have to do everything yourself." Another voice said. Lucy sighed and headed over to her fellow agents. "So walk me through what happened." Lucy said ignoring Tim and Angela. "Well as I was saying to these lovely cops, just a homicide." The agent smiled. "Then why the hell am I here?" Lucy said folding her arms, her back completely to the duo. "Agent Chen we believe it's connected to Rosalind Dyer." They said. Lucy froze at that name. "Oh. Okay thanks. I will um go help." Lucy said nervously. "What the hell is here deal?" Tim asked the agents. "She's been through a lot recently, she's actually one Rosalind's victims but we saved her. Well she was dead but we brought her back." The agent explained. "Yeah oh my god I heard about that, I felt so bad." Angela said remorseful. Tim on the other hand could not get his eyes off her, he hasn't seen her face..yet, but god is he excited. As she turns her hair engulfing everything, she quickly shakes it off her face to reveal her dark red lipstick and her big beautiful eyelashes. Tim's heart is in his throat as she makes her way over. Her heels making a clicking sound that he could listen to all day. "LAPD!" She yells. Tim and Angela look at her. "Come here!" She says loudly. "Yes agent." Angela says as they make their way over to her. "Why are yous here I mean no disrespect but you're not really needed." Lucy says crossing her arms. Tim was in a trance he couldn't hear or see a thing only her. "Honestly I have no idea we got dispatched here." Angela says with a slight chuckle. "Oh okay. Well if you're not doing anything can yous come with me and help me with something?" Lucy asks with a smile. Tim's knees felt weak. "Of course we can right Bradford?" Angela asks only receiving a simple small nod from Tim. Angela and Lucy talk and laugh the whole way to the back garden, she seems so different from 5 minutes ago. "Okay we're here. In here in the fence there's a hole big enough for a person, a small person. It's throwing me off Rosalind is calculated and wouldn't just leave a random hole in a fence. I think we're gonna go talk to her. Could yous come with me, please?" Lucy says almost pleading. "Yeah don't worry we got you!" Angela says with a smile. At this point tims just following them like a lost puppy.

They arrive outside the prison. "Let me do the talking." Lucy says as they enter the building. They both nod. Then they see her. Rosalind. "Oh if it isn't my favourite agent! Oh and some new friends! Hi, you probably know me I'm rosa-" Rosalind says but is cut off my a pissed  of Lucy. "Shut up! I'm not here for a catch up I'm here because I know you Rosalind, too well for my liking. There was a killing down town exactly like yours. So unless you've got another follower it's you." Lucy spits out. "Are we just throwing accusations around now? Lu I thought we were closer than that." Rosalind pouts. Lucy takes a step closer. "The only thing you're close to is hell. Rosalind you're gonna give me answers and you're gonna give them to me now." Lucy says sharp. "I-" Rosalind says. "That wasn't a request that was a demand. NOW!" Lucy says coldly. "It wasn't me and don't you worry you're cute little face I don't have another Caleb running around like a headless chicken, I learned that lesson last time." Rosalind says rolling her eyes. "I swear to god if I find out it's related to even by a hair, by a finger print. I will come back and beat the living shit out of you do you understand. Don't play games with me. You promise me it has zero absolutely nothing to do with you." Lucy says. Rosalind sticks out her pinky. "Pinky promise lu." Rosalind laughs. Lucy rolls her eyes. "You better be telling the truth. Let's go lapd." Lucy says walking out. "BYE LU ILL MISS YOU!" Rosalind laughs.

"Hey Lucy we're going for lunch if you want to join?" Angela says. "After the day I've had I'll eat anything." Both the girls laugh as they make their way to the food trucks where they meet the rest of the gang. "Jackson?!" Lucy says. Jackson turns around and brings her into a tight hug lifting her off her feet. "Oh my god Luce. I was so worried about you. I'm so so sorry I couldn't come visit." Jackson repeated. "Hey it's okay I know how busy you were. We need to eat together and catch up!" She says excitedly. "Yes cmon let's go order." He laughs.  Tim and Angela sit down at a table. "Why you so quiet blondie?" Angela asks. "I'm not quiet." He groans. "No since agent Chen showed up you've been real quiet. Wait you like her!" Angela squeals. Tim's head shoots up. "Shut up ang." He says coldly. She pretends to zips her lips. "Your secrets safe with me! I don't blame you she's stunning and a total badass." Angela giggles, Tim shakes his head eating his food.

After lunch Lucy Tim and Angela all get back in Lucy's car. "Okay should I take yous back to the station?" Lucy asks. "Yeah I have loads of paperwork to do. Right tim?" Angela says looking at tim with the "talk to her" face. "Yeah same thank you." Tim smiles. "No worries at all!" Lucy smiles.

Once they get to the station they all get out the car. "You coming with?" Angela says as they walk though the doors. "Yeah I have some old friends here." Lucy says. They all part ways but Tim and Lucy go the same way. "So who you gonna go see?" He says. "Your captain we go way back!" Lucy says excitedly. "Oh really? How far?" Tim asks. "Like college. I was studying psychology and she was dating someone in my class so we went to parties together and we got really close then after the break up we stopped seeing each other." Lucy shrugs. "That's a shame yous sounded really close." Tim says. "Yeah we were but it's okay. Okay this is her office. Bye Tim!" Lucy smiles. Right before she can open the door. "Lucy?" Tim says quietly. Lucy turns around. "Yeah?" She says curiously. "Here's my number if you need any help on any cases." He smiles. Lucy lets out a small laugh. "Thank you Tim, I'll keep that in mind. Say bye to Angela for me!" She says as she walks in.

Later on Tim gets a notification from a random number.

Lucy- Hey! It's Lucy, don't worry all my cases are closed but thought I should text you anyways.

Tim stared at his phone for what felt like forever. She actually texted him.

Tim- Hey! It's good to hear from you. My offer always there if you need help from LAPD finest 🤷🏼‍♂️.

Lucy- 😂😂 thank you! How are you after today? I know seeing Rosalind can be quite eerie.

Tim- I mean it's the first I've ever actually saw her but considering I just stood there I'm okay. How about you ? It can't be easy seeing her after what happened.

Lucy- It's not easy, it's really hard actually. My boss wanted me to take more time off but I felt like sitting duck. I know I'm lucky I'm one of her survivors but people only see me as a victim. Today was my 3rd day back so seeing her was a lot more difficult than I thought.

Tim- If you ever need to talk you know I'm here, always.

Lucy- Thank you that means a lot Tim.

Tim- We got to have each other backs in our type of jobs. Hope we can work another case together soon.

Lucy- Yeah that would be really fun! Can't wait.

Tim- If you're that excited to see me again we don't have to wait for a case to come along.

Lucy- Shut up! I'm more excited to Angela.

Tim- Oh really?

Lucy- Uh huh.

Tim- I see how it is. I'll just take back my offer then🤷🏼‍♂️.

Lucy- No you don't have to do that! We can meet up tomorrow at a bar, if you're up for it.

Tim- Yeah that would be fun. See you tomorrow Lucy.

Lucy- See you tomorrow Tim.

"And that's how I met your mother." Tim says with a sleeping Lucy in his shoulder and his 3 year old fighter next to him drifting off to sleep. "Wow daddy! So you knew you loved mummy when you first saw her." Ellie said. "Yeah baby it was love at first sight. Now go to bed ells. Good night I love you." He said as he kissed her forehead. "Love you too daddy!" She giggled. Tim felt at peace his two favourite girls beside him. He wouldn't change it for the world.
